I hope the Spurs win, too.

But I will also say this -- if the Spurs lose tonight and if they lose this series, there will be no disgrace in that outcome. As a Spurs fan, the last 10 years have been more than I could have ever expected and more than most fans will ever experience in a lifetime of closely following a professional franchise. Years on top that nobody can take away. les that united a city. So many wins, a few heartbreaking losses. A team comprised of men who represent the best of professional athletics. It's been nirvana for a sports fan.

I want the Spurs to win tonight. I think the Spurs will win this series. But there should be some perspective here and it should recognize that the world won't end if the Spurs don't win Game 2.

Also, and I hate to admit this, but I like the Hornets. As I said before the playoffs, I wouldn't be surprised if they win it all.

I have David West on my DL2 team, so I followed the Hornets pretty closely this season.

I'll be honest, I didn't think we would get past the Suns.

To see that team play so well and dismantle them so quickly, was a thing of beauty. Yeah, it was only one round, but this team has been iffy all season. I have full faith that we'll retool in the summer and come back even stronger next year.

Great post and i agree on all points. I will say that as much as i want to win another le, repeat, keep the dynasty going all that good stuff, beating the Suns was glorious. Of course i want to win this series but playing the Suns who got Shaq just to get over the hump that is the Spurs, combined with all the emotions of that series was a huge relief for me that the Spurs came through it. Have to keep things in perspective here, we got 4 rings and it has been one of the great runs ever.

Just an fyi: If the Magic/Pistons game runs late TNT should start our game on TBS, which is their sister station. I'm trying to keep my ears open if they say something. If anyone hears anything please post the info. TBS is how they've done it in the past, I'm not sure if they can use any of the ESPNs.

They just made the announcement. If needed, go to TBS. Start time is scheduled for 9:45, so it may not be needed! My Pistons plan on beating Orlando very quickly!
