Impossible task, of course, but since it's more fun than my French homework...

I've always had a soft spot for:
    Norwegian Wood
    Only A Northern Song
    Across The Universe
    Within You Without You
    Come Together
    I'm Only Sleeping
    I'm Looking Through You
    Eleanor Rigby
    Girl
    In My Life
    o Goodbye
    Please Please Me

Okay, now I need to stop myself.

Great song. I've always felt that Harrison should be placed on the same level as
Lennon/McCartney in terms of songwriting abilities. He's just as good, if not better.

He's second to Lennon on my list, and both are miles ahead of McCartney.

How could I forget I am the Walrus..

Has anyone one heard the Jim Carrey version.. I think on a tribute album George Martin put out?

Jim Carrey is the last person I would want to hear sing a Beatles song

It's hard to narrow my favorites down, but I guess if I could only pick a few, these would be it. "Something" is one of my all time favorite love songs, along with the Moody Blues' "Nights in White Satin" (sans crazy montage stuck to the end of it - I HATE it when KMFR plays the montage), Dan Fogelberg's "The Last Nail", and Joni Mitc 's "A Case of You".

These could all be on my list, as well (two of them already are).

Although, this thread is dangerous for me. I could probably find reasons to put almost any of their songs (Lady Madonna, The Fool on the Hill, and Your Mother Should Know are all notable exceptions) on my list of favorites.

Ditto - I spent a good percentage of my childhood playing all of the Beatles albums on vinyl. I remember my Dad saying that he was always really excited when a new Beatles album came out, because it was one of the only times where you could practically guarantee that you'd like every song you heard on it. Notable exception being the Magical Mystery Tour, he hadn't even saved that one so I heard it for the first time on cassette later.

I love "Magical Mystery Tour." My mom has the double album (with book in good condition), so I grew up listening to that one. The film is ing insane, but I liked it, too. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, though.

I can hear it now, but I don't recall its name... It's the one where none of them sing, and nobody's playing an instrument.

I prefer the earliest stuff they did, I like their "raw" sound more than the doctored up sound that money brings. But really I like it all. I don't have the patience to look for youtubes right now, but these are probably my faves:

    Love Me Do

Do You Want To Know A Secret?

    I Should Have Known Better

    I'll Cry Instead

    I'm A Loser

    Help

    Yesterday

    Eleanor Rigby

    Oh Darling

    The Long and Winding Road
