WE've gotta start Manu the rest of the series. the bench. The big three ALL NEED to be starting so NO can't key in on Tony and Tim. Having Manu out there with Tim and Tony stops NO from keying in on those two. I would have made that move at half time of game 1.
And Pop, what the are you doing with Peja??????? You should have had Bruce on Peja in game 1 and for S SAKE you should most definitely have had Bruce guarding Peja ALL of game 2. You're slitting your own teams throats.
Peja was part of the big 3rd quarter run in game 1 and tonight Peja is also a huge part of NO 3rd quarter run again tonight. IT POP. WAKE UP MAN.

Without a bench, (Manu is bench), we'll be lucky to be down 30 at the end of the game.
WHo else on this team is doing anything. Manu is trying to create for all the stiffs on this team. MANU is trying to make things happen.
I admit that Manu is pressing a little too much and some of those turnsovers are on him, but FFS who else on this team can create a darn thing???????
Also, I want to see Manu take NO MORE threes. Only take a 3 if you're wide open otherwise ALL twos.

- And look more for his penetrations and scoring than too much passing
I agree they need to try more penetrations both manu and parker and then if you get the charge or are blocked,, so be it but Chandler is having a field day out there. Parker needs to do his thing. I know he will on game 3 but the spurs will need to win game 4 and 5 on the road to win this.
I was more pissed that Pop stuck with Finley even though he was ice cold. Then watching Barry nail a three in garbage time just made it worse.
We need to play our best players as much as possible and Manu plays a lot more minutes when he starts, so I say yes.
And play Barry and Bonner too, we need to make them pay for the double team.

Yep. Less time for Michael and more time for Barry. Also, if Horry or the rest of the bigs are providing nothing give Bonner a shot.
A little? He is playing ridiculous right now. How many times is he gonna force bullet passes inside to see them fumbled out of bounds or go behind his back against a double team to just lose it on the sideline? Barry needs to start getting alot of his minutes... ASAP.

Tonite the bench proved to be more cohesive than the starting 5+manu.
The on going distrust on our bench has been blown out of proportion all year long. We did better against their starting line-up with our supposed "scrubs".
Start Manu or Barry (I would go with Barry coz he is hotter from 3pt land). And make Tony and Bowen focus primarily on D to compensate Barry's D liability.
Going back home maybe you guys should start Manu. I think Barry should get more playing time. The reason doubling Duncan has been so effective is that the 3's for you guys eventually go dry. Barry was swishing tonite. Back to Manu. I think he will be a lot more comfortable in game 3. TP too. He had a pretty bad game 5 in the first half. 6 in the second. I look for the Spurs to come out slugging in game 3.
Duncan needs to take more three pointers.
Starting Manu puts problems with using him as the backup PG when Parker is getting his rest.
