This series will be over if the fu<king hornets splits one at our home.

This team will be over if thefu<king hornets sweeps our home too.

Pop is just as clueless as AJ out there. Same effort, same , same results as in game 1.

The big question is: how did the Silver & Black manage to beat them TWICE this season?

    That's unbelievable.

Their big 3 is playing better than our big 3. You can take out all the other players and it boils down to that.

Wow. That is kinda harsh Tampa. These two games are pure mental. The Suns blew the team out late in the season and they recovered to win the series. This has a different feel. ...and Why is Peja acting like Superman when it looked like he was washed up after the Kings let him go a few years ago? Any thoughts?
Well, he doesn't have Bruce hounding him when he's on the court. Pop better make that change.

I don't think anyone can deny that the Spur's desire is not there. Maybe winning the championship has lost its allure for some of them.

No shame in losing to a superior team. The Hornets are simply better, much better, than the Spurs at every position. The Spurs have no chance whatsoever to win even a single game, let alone the series.
I'm not ashamed of them at all. But the Hornets are much, much better than we are. And I expect them to take Games 3 & 4 easily.

Maybe ... the Spurs win one at home. But only 1.

Spurs will bounce back. They needed a wake-up call.

    WAKEY WAKEY.

Another awesome game by the Hornets, they made the Spurs look completely inept. That was hard to watch. SA better dig deep and find some more desire.

We are at least winning game 3 and 4 at home. And remember they Lakers in 2004? We pummled them like this in Games 1 and 2 and then they beat us in 4 straight. We'll get our together to at least have a chance.

There's just no denying that CP3 is amazing. And only in his second year?? Damn!
It's his third year if it makes you feel any better. Drafted in '05.

    Spurs win Game 3.

    Hornets win Game 4.

Hornets close it out in Game 5.

    The era ends.
Yup...season over...Finley and Horry will retire...Spurs will get some more youth and athleticism in the offseason...the Spurs have had a great run, but time has taken its toll. This may have been the last chance to get a 5th le...it appears the Duncan era is rapidly coming to a close.

The Hornets may very well win it all this year.

Need a good showing next game. Shows how much homecourt means in the playoffs. Hornets got a loud crowd.

Those Lakers have a coach that know how to adjust. This is Lakers '04 defense we're seeing here. Pop is going to die with the 4 down, and bricking treys.
The other problem is defense. We just are not making enough stops to give ourselves a chance.
Now Pop knows that hustle and playing harder won't cut it. Let's see what he comes up with for Game 3.

Yup...either way, this series is over...the 2008 Hornets are just way better than the 2008 Spurs...anyone who still thinks the Spurs will win this series is sadly deluded. The Hornets are playing on a whole 'nother level...and I think they even have one more gear left. The Spurs will get swept. vBookie it!

I guess Pop was serious in the presser after eliminating the Suns. I guess the Spurs thought the playoffs were over after the first round. If they play like this they'll be lucky to keep a game within single digits while being swept.

That said, they can win four against this team if they show up. Too bad they haven't yet.
