A growing environmental & engineering firm in Austin is looking for an environmental Scientist/Biologist who can perform or willing to perform the following tasks: Conducting environmental assessments, ecological studies, and environmental impact study including threatened and endangered species habitat, vegetation surveys, delineation of jurisdictional wetlands.


Qualifications: Pre- or post-graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Wildlife Biologist, Wildlife management, or related biological field with major coursework.


Experience: One to three years experience relevant to the specific duties of the position perferred.


Skills:

-Knowledge of wildlife species, ecology, and knowledge of regulatory programs related to the USCOE, USFWS, TCEQ, EPA and City of Austin Ordinances a PLUS.

-Skill in using AutoCAD, GIS and GPS a PLUS.

-Ability to collect scientific data.
