Kobe will win again next year. I'm guaranteeing it
Only way LA wins it next year is if LA wins 65+ with the West staying as tough as it was this season.
Chris Paul got screwed. Spurs fans know what a great player he is.
Kobe has Pau Gasol. Paul is making Tyson Chandler look like an All Star. You can't tell me alot of people even knew who David West was prior to Paul getting there.
Yeah, Chris Paul is the reason Tyson grabs 12 boards and plays All-NBA defense.
West has proven he is a legit all-star.
Peja is a 3-time all-star (more than Pau) and former MVP candidate
You're a ing idiot Armando. Although, Chris Paul was a worthy candidate unlike Nash who never deserved a MVP in the first place.
Are you kidding me? Tyson Chandler was the 2nd pick of the draft. Add on to that, he's been in the top of the NBA in FG% and rebounding LAST year.
David West? David West has averaged something like 18points and 8 rebounds for the LAST 3 YEARS. None of this is new.
Peja has averaged around 17 points for the last 9 years.
Nothing new there, CP3 has amazing talent next to him.
If the Lamar, Pau, Bynum and Kobe can all stay healthy they will challenge 70 wins.
Ok take Paul off that team and they don't even sniff the playoffs much less have a 2-0 lead on the Spurs. Chandler was not this good in Chicago that I remember and West put those numbers on teams that were winning 18 games in a empty arena.
Relax Kobe got the award.
Nash helped improved the Suns by 33 wins and lead the Suns to the WCF. Where was Kobe in playoff time in 2005?
It doesn't matter where they were doing it, they put up those numbers BEFORE CP3.
David West is an 18 point scorer and 8 rebound guy...that's very close to Pau Gasol. He's done it for 3 YEARS, not just this year.
Peja is a 18 point scorer for the LAST 9 YEARS, not just this year.
Tyson Chandler was a #2 draft pick who was ALWAYS good at rebounding.
Nothing new here.
CP3 is a good player, that doesn't mean that he turned junk into gold, those guys have ALWAYS been talented players. Sasha Vujacic, Jordan Farmar, Bynum, Turiaf, Luke Walton...they are only good players THIS year. None of them are high draft picks like Chandler, Bynum was the highest at #10.
We agree to disagree and in the long run maybe is better for Paul that Kobe won the MVP. If these 2 teams meet in the WCF Kobe would have been motivated even more after hearing nomstop about Paul's MVP.
And will YOUR MVP win the WCF if the teams meet?![]()
I am fan of Pauls but even I am not crazy enough to think the Hornets can beat the Lakers. If they beat the Spurs that will be a great acomplishment for them but the Lakers are destined for the Finals.
Agreed, we'll agree to disagree on the other points![]()
It was Kobe's year to win it. Did he deserve it? It's Kobe Bryant. You can never say he doesn't deserve an MVP... he's too good to ever say that about him. Personally my vote would go to CP3... all you have to do is ask yourself where Atlanta would be with him running the point... a 55-win team... but you can't begrudge Kobe getting it.
You're stupid. The Suns took the champion Spurs to 6 games before Nash even got there.
Of course the improvement had nothing to do with Amare being healthy/2years older and Joe Johnson. Re .
Nash is the worst MVP winner ever. Complete joke that he has any MVPs, let alone two.
By the way, Nash can kiss Kobe's three championship rings. Which is something Nash will never ever win.
Nash had Amare and Marion...so whats your point? Oh your point is Nash didnt deserve MVP either....ahh ok..ill take that.
Yeah, specially 'cause Butler didn't recieve any vote.
