Don't blame the refs. Don't make excuses.
The Spurs were outplayed (I won't say 'outcoached') by a very good team that is younger and hungrier and was at home.
Let's not panic until the Spurs lose a home game.
This is a prideful, experienced and very good team that wants to repeat badly.
Tim Duncan will stand up.
Relax.
That's a relief.
As long as spurs will win all games in AT&T we'll be fine![]()
I'm sensing the general feeling around here is pretty optimistic. Monday was rough, but that's to be expected.
Well as long as ghost believes so...
I doubt that will happen, but even if it does it just means Hornets in 7.
Re: Europe Media Spurs and Ramūnas Šiškauskas
THE SPURS NEED THIS GUY - RAMUNAS - The guy is pretty good actually. He won the Euro-league with PAO last year...I watched him few times - HE IS LISTED AS NUMBER 1 in the Draft of foreign players scouted this year...The problem is he is 29 years OLD...However, he is better than ALL of other guys we have from the 3-pt line!!!! YEA, MUCH, MUCH BETTER!!! He is even better than Barry in the 3-pt release (Barry is OLD NOW) - watch him!!! HOWEVER, Finley, Bruce and Barry are approaching the retirement - if Barry gets another serious injury to keep him out for a long time, he will retire for sure...
Ramunas - he is called 'RAMU' or 'Siska' is MUCH better sized than Manu and Udoka - he could easily guard someone like Peja WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM??? Very high % from the FT line, Unbelievable from 3s, he can steal and pass the ball, he CAN EVEN BLOCK - put this guy right next to Manu in the rotation, he will be a KILLER - HE WAS THE APRIL 2008 EURO-PLAYER OF THE MONTH:

Siskauskas' buzzer beater:

I HOPE WE GET THIS GUY, THEN WE CAN RELEASE THE OLD DONKEY FINLEY AND BRENT BARRY...
IF POP GETS THIS GUY, IMAGINE HIM WORKING WITH CHIP JUST FOR FEW MONTHS TO PRACTICE Tony Parker's quick short jumpers from the lane, the Spurs WILL BE UNBEATABLE TEAM, having this guy from outside shooting 3s plus Manu, and then having him in a COMBO with Tony Parker coming off the pick and nailing down short jumpers - the guy is shooting 62% from the field shooting 2s - quick jumpers - this is JUST UNBELIEVABLE...
GO SPURS!!! GO MANU!!!
Oh wow, so it annoyed you as well huh Ghost? lol

I am calm....I have already moved on to baseball. The NBA season is over as far as I am concerned.
It was a nice run, but the championship days are long gone.
Indeed. Some of you act like you've never seen a championship won before.
ghost is here to save the day

It's an odd day when Casper is the poster preaching calm!
I agree with his thought completely.
Now this is the first truly positive sign seen in a while.
He has spoken the truth.![]()
The Spurs are down badly! I should have known it was time for Mr. five billion posts (300 posts a day for 10 years) to show up! Aint seen you since the trade deadline my man! hows things going!?
Pathetic. Coulda waited until the Spurs lose 3 games at least.

I love it when a long lost old schooler returns when the spurs are in dire straits in the playoffs and we're supposed to overlook the mountain of approaching on the horizon just because they decided to make their token playoff season post.
Wrong. The Spurs win once against New Orleans, JUST ONCE, they'll have momentum and confidence and their championship experience, something your team does not have, will kick in. And if there's any team that has an long list of big road playoff wins in recent history, its the Spurs. New Orleans ain't exactly Utah.
There's a problem with your post count.
