Very true.
The amount of racial smack from Hornets fans in the last week has been more than every other fan base combined. It seems like just about every Hornets fan has gone to the "Spurs fans are Mexicans" card.
I mean, I know you guys elected David Duke but got damn.

I think most that play the "Mexican" card are doing it in retaliation of the Katrina smack also the whole "San Antonio tried to steal our Saints" angle gets some riled up even if the actual fans and people of San Antonio had nothing to really do with any of that.
I would buy that but about six or seven Hornets fan have pulled the "Spurs fans are Mexicans" card on their opening post.

NO no no no. I'm not justifying it all, it's very stupid and is not acceptable, exspecially when you consider that it's been Mexican labor that has helped rebuild most of New Orleans and Southwest LA. I just think that when "fans" come on here and they read the Katrina stuff they think of the most hurtful stupid they can throw back? And that's where the Mexican non-sense comes in.

But that doesn't mean they have not read the Katrina stuff first and then created a screen name just to throw that crap out there. Like I said earlier though I don't even think half of these "Hornets" fans are really fans just idiots or fans of other teams bored out of there minds that like to start .
We really don't have much room to talk. Where did the Hornets come from? I know that we also tried to lure the T-Wolves down south once as well.
Like I said I don't agree with it, I'm just telling you that other people still get pretty fired up about it.
I know I enjoyed Hornet fan dropping n-bombs and posting porn the other day. You'd think they just discovered the internets.

No one had even mentioned Katrina here (believe it or not, San Antonio was sympathetic to the situation) and Hornets fans bombarded the board posting Mexican smack, immigration smack, porn pictures and hundreds of other trash posts. Some idiot Spurs fans starting talking about Katrina AFTER that. And then it has continued. Hornets fans started it. And it's a Spurs board. I'm trying to end it on both sides.
I am all for the other fans being here. And I sympathize that many of you think your home board suck, but have some ing respect. I wouldn't come to your house for dinner, uninvited, and then take a crap on your kitchen table. So don't do the same to my forum.

That's cool, I got here a little late after most of the immigrant/Katrina stuff was already cleaned up. I think I and a few others have been pretty respectful don't throw us all in the same group as dumb racist basketball newbies

you wouldn't get thrown in the same group if you weren't here trying to excuse their behavior by saying that Spurs fans started the , when that's not the truth.
I wasn't excusing it I've said before it's unacceptable. I was trying to explain what I thought they where thinking and what plays into their warped little minds and that it doesn't go on at the other Hornets boards I've read. From the point that I started reading this forum to now it seemed that every "Mexican" taunt usually was preceded by a Katrina joke, but apparently before I got here that wasn't the case, my bad.
I think (and hope) that most of these people were either not hornets fans, or immature 13 year old pricks. Most hornets fans fall into two categories. They are either the intelligent basketball savvy fan, or the "birdman zomg lolz" type. the latter seems to have taken control of HR.com. I was not around for the katrina jokes vs. mexican jokes situation, so I will reserve comment.
Is San Antonio 90% Mexicans? check!
Did Katrina hit New Orleans? check!
Are we known for a city of sin and looting? check!
Is the San Antonio river known for dirty ass water? check!

If you say anything at all negative about a player then ban. Fighting, ban - and they have a merit deduction system.

I'd actually like to see the Hornets get their own board. I like to think that Spurstalk is extending the olive branch to other teams.

You MUST remember that if you're going to join HR, you better know that the admins OWN you and your children. NEVER insult the mods/admins. In fact, you should be thankful you're even there. Say " " and you're banned for life. "A family friendly board". Excuse me, but when the do CHILDREN go to a sports message board? I can't envision a tyke logging on to chat basketball strategy. Am I wrong here?
HornetsAsylum is definitely the way to go. It was created by HR's cream of the crop. All that's left at HR now is dictators and stupid peasants.
