    Stockton and Malone's Jazz?

    With the exception that David West doesn't really have the low post moves of Malone, the teams are very similar. Also, you would never see Stockton to Greg Ostertag for an alley-oop.

    But, both teams really use screens effectively and both teams have pretty damn deadly perimeter shooters.

    Both Stockton and CP3 are excellent at assisting their teammates and getting steals. Stockton still has the career best in total assists (15806) and steals (3265). But then again, the dude did play for 18 years.

    The current Jazz remind me more of that team than the Hornets.

    Well, Boozer is certainly more Malone-like than David West is.

    If West actually put on more weight and developed a low-post game, look the out.

    They remind me of what the 05 Suns probably would have looked like if Pop were coaching them.

    That's why I said 05. If you took most of the key pieces and told them to play defense I think it would match up pretty well.
    Nash = Paul
    Amare = Chandler
    West = Marion
    House, QRich, other 3 pt threats = Peja
    Barbosa = Pargo

    I can see where you are headed, but I think the current Jazz are a lot more like the old Jazz than the Hornets are.

    I believe that's the last known photo of Robert Horry leaving his feet during the regular season.

    West has some issues with getting in people's faces, but Malone would try to mame people with his elbows and Stockton would take cheap shots as he ran around screeners.

    Whoa, slow down their R. Kelly. You never know where Chris Hansen might be lurking in the internets.

    Hehe if Chris Hansen had been around Summerfield, LA in 1983 maybe the Spurs would have a couple more of these

    The first 5 or 6 years of his career Warm Karl was a low-post player.
