Yeah, the Hornets tried to lose. That's why your MVP put up 35 points and 9 assists and West added 23-12. That's why everytime the Spurs made a run the Hornets countered. No way did we throw that game - but I think this loss will be good for us. Imagine if the hornets swept the spurs. The media would be all over these guys and pumping them up. The young players would be so overconfident going into LA and probably get drummed the first 2 games. But now that they're back to earth, Scott can continue to keep control over their emotions.
