this game will be fun to watch,,, i think Deron will explode badly for 35 pts and 18 assts or something near that.... i just Hope Booz shows up to make it a win... so AK 47 and Okur...
Time to even the series with the next 2 games at home. Lakers played ok in game 1 and amazing in game 2. I felt we had a shot to win in game 1 but never had that feeling while watching game 2 even though we cut the lead to 5 in the 4th. I'm about 95% sure we'll win tonight, and I have a feeling it will be by 20 or more. This game reminds me of game 3 last year against the Spurs where we blew them off the court.
Lakers 97
Jazz 120
GO JAZZ!!

Good luck....however if it's close in the 4th.....
Boozer is getting hammered here by just about everyone...the talk shows, newspapers, fans. If he's not motivated to play well after the beating he's been taking then he needs to retire. Right now Millsap is a better option for us at the 4. It's time for Boozer to man up and play like the beast.
I have no idea what happened to last year's WCF Boozer. He's totally been a non-factor. Is Pau bothering him that much?
If Boozer doesn't get it together, the Jazz won't win any games in this series. The #2 guy has to score, period and not turn over the ball half the time.
I had no doubts that the Lakers would win both home games, here comes the test. I still think the Lakers pull it out.
23 pts? no. Lakers gonna win this one. You guys would be lucky to win this game or the next one.
If the lakers lose, i'll eat you underwear Girasuck
If the Lakers are going to lose one game this series tonight would be the night. But that only happens if Kobe DOESNT go nuclear. Sadly, Kobe is going to go nuclear. Sorry Jazz fans, you're ed.
Lakers just need to split the next 2 games
Im expecting BIG games by Dwill and Boozer 2nte.
Today is the one-year anniversary of Fisher flying from his daughter's surgery for the Utah/GS game.
Best believe Kobe and crew will be fired up to win this game for Fisher.
I can live with that![]()
If Lakers win tonight's game, they're the real deal.
I think they're already the real deal. I think we're the real deal as well...we just picked a horrible time of the year to play bad basketball.
I predict the Lakers will lose tonight (although I still hope they will win) - need to win one of the the next two to avoid an ugly drawn out series.
You guys should technically be able to compete with them. Since you guys have the advantage in your homecourt record, (given that it's likely the Lakers might drop one game or two on the road)and the Lakers still beat you it just means the Lakers outclass your "pretty good playoff" team, and are just too elite, too good.
I'm really sick of LA having games handed to them. They are only the #1 seed by chance alone. A bucket here or there not going in, and they could've been the #5-8 seed. It's time for the Lakers to stop having everything handed and spoonfed to them.
What that's the reg season dude.....in the past. Good luck with the Hornets.
The Lakers screwed around and didn't really stand out among the conference elites until the last 2 weeks of the season. That's where they got the #1 seed, they stepped it up and took care of business.
It was anybody's #1 really, only the Lakers wanted it bad enough. The Spurs don't think the regular season matters and the Hornets picked a very bad time to play sucky basketball (loss to the Lakers then Kings). And I think it was the Rockets that lost to the Nuggets (on the last Sunday) and lost the #1 seed.
^^ the Force is Strong in this one today.
Agreed on the Spurs interesting and Hornets no chance vs Lakers.
You're probably right. Utah's hard to gauge as a real test for the Lakers. It was under the assumption that this series is supposed to be a compe ive series...
Before the Playoffs, everyone was competing on an equal level.
Boozer sucks too much. I don't think Utah's there yet as a squad.
Off to the game. Wish us luck!! I hear there might actually be cheering for Fisher. Just a crazy rumor I heard on the radio a few minutes ago. The crowd is going to be CRAZY!! I hope ESPN doesn't turn the crowd noise down so everyone watching can hear what a playoff crowd should sound like.
Anyway...GO JAZZ!!
I can understand why Utah fans boo Fisher. If he were to just have been released from his contract, moved to LA but NOT play for any team, that would have been okay.
But if you're supposed to move to get better care for your daughter, then join a team and be on an NBA traveling schedule and not with your family as often, that seems kind of fishy, no pun intended.
If I were a Utah fan I'd boo Fisher.
