I've grown disenchanted with SR because:

1) site outages... they just had the 2nd multi-day outage in the last year or so
2) going crazy with ads, some with insistent pop-ups that lead you to malware, some with annoying sounds... when I'd complain in the tech forum they'd laugh at me... then they put ads in the middle of threads too!
3) can't swear when you feel like it. I don't often but when I want to, I want to. Swear words are usually not the most intelligent way to put things, but occasionally they are useful.

I didn't really have a problem with the mods getting on my case because I'm pretty reasonable.

This is the first thread I've seen in a week or so that's mentioned Spursreport. And before that, it was weeks or months at a time that I read here without seeing SR so much as referenced.

Considering this is from a FORMER MEMBER of SR, telling us that he/she is making the switch to this forum because SR absolutely sucks, I fail to see how that is representative of the ST community being obsessed with SR.

Oh wait. We aren't. We just know we're better and enjoy poking fun at the power-hungry mods on SR.
