This one is on Duncan AHF. He's decided to play like an offensive pussy tonight.
Duncan 2-10, 2 turnovers.
ing end it already, Pop.
This one is on Duncan AHF. He's decided to play like an offensive pussy tonight.
So why continue to run every play for him?
Parker 3-5
Manu 3-7
Combined 9-10 on FTs.
Duncan 2-10, 2 turnovers.
This is what pisses me off about 4down. Duncan is laying a ing egg, you've got two other guys who can score. And yet Pop keeps going to him. Quit forcing the issue if Tim is going to be a pussy on offense, go somewhere else and tell him any time he wants to nut up you'll be happy to give him the ball again.
Don't keep giving him the ball if he's going to be a pussy with it.
I guess he's hoping Duncan can't suck forever. But at this rate, maybe he will..
The plays are getting Duncan the ball where he normally makes more shots than he misses. Pop needs to duncan's punk ass out hardcore during halftime, then keep running the play. Light a fire under the big guy's ass.
if West is able to continue guarding Duncan one on one then it takes away all the open threes we are getting so he has to continue to go to Duncan and keep the defense honest
He's having one of those nights...this is getting almost predictable now. He hits his first few...good night. He misses his first few...bad night, bad FT shooting, everything goes to .
Tim's making a David West seem like a HoF defensive player out there. Sad.
Manu and Tony aren't getting to the hole off of the PnR because Chandler is flashing hard then coming back. You can beat this with weak side penetration so maybe they'll draw up some stuff to take advantage of that but you're going to have to put Manu or Tony in different positions because those spots are being taken by Finley and Bowen right now and those aren't the guys you want penetrating.
We need to attack more and definitely more ball movement. Don't forget what got you wins in Games 3 and 4, Spurs.
You know there is a 2nd half to play here guys. Lets relax.
Aggie have you send e-mail to everybody ing about Pop going 4 down?
Cause I think that those 12678 posts about that is not enough.
BS Manny, we aren't running the pick and roll.
Here's some perspective for you guys:
2nd Quarter Spurs offense:
2 points, 1 turnover (led to NO layup) on nine possessions of four down.
21 points on 13 possessions of everything else (motion, PnR, transition, set inbounds plays).
I don't give a if it's Tim Duncan, if he's going to play this soft, go elsewhere for your points. Tell Tim to rebound, play D, and if he feels like pulling his head out on offense then you'll think about getting him the ball again.
He's letting Ely, West, and Chandler push him out of the low block, and he's not going to the rack to try and finish at the rim (1 FT attempt on an and-1 off a jumper on a pick and roll of all things).
Spurs playing bad and still up.
Yeah, gameplan should be to not pass the ball to your best player![]()
We won't win a game 7 in New Orleans. We have to get this tonight. Why does Pop feel the need to go away from what was working in games 3-4?
Nor should it be to keep feeding him when he's 2-10 with a turnover.
duncan layin an egg
who came first, duncan or the egg? YARLY
Are we gonna play game 7?
Duncan got flu-like symptoms
I can't remember but are you the person that usually complains about 4down?
We are running it. Chandler is flashing out hard and they get NO penetration off of it at all. And Manu or Tony can't hit Duncan because the rotation is game planned for it.
They're defending it coming hard over those screens with a flash. This has holes that you exploit with weakside penetration but thats not the Spurs strength.
They aren't playing alone out there. There is a team playing defense dude.
when is tim going to stop begging for a call?
Okay....duncan is seriously playing so ridiculously bad that I think we need to stop giving it to him and standing around.
this is turning into another ing blowout
You can't even ing breathe on Chris Fall without a whistle.
We had 4 turnovers caused by perimeter players in the first few minutes of the 3rd. That has killed us and probably cost us this game.
And 4-down isn't working either. They're doubling Tim, the pass is going around the perimeter without any open looks, and ultimately Tony is driving into the teeth of the D. They're rotating faster, and we're running the same ing sequence over and over again.
Basically its been an offensive failure on all fronts
