the series are very tied...the only difference seems the home court advantage right now...that means teams are even almost.....and it will highest likely come to a game 7 thriller....hornets have the home advantage in game 7, but spurs have the experience-advantage and when the season is on the line and 2 minutes left..... a hornet player will more likely get affected than a spurs player..but you never know
and stop ing like you were a better team before....the west div. has maybe NEVER been as good (or at least for a long time) as it is now and the road to the championship is way harder than for any of your previous roads you have made..And you are doing it fine...if it was as good as this in any of the previous years..... you would still have the same trouble you have now ...if you faced this hornets team before you would still face same trouble

He's a ing bag AM sports radio host in Baton Rouge. I know this b/c there is no mistaking his voice. He co-hosts a show named "The water boys" but he and his co-host say "dah Wahtah Boyz". Don't know his name, don't really give a . The show is garbage. It's him (a white guy who talks extremely new orleans - not a good thing, and he is ghetto as can be) and a black guy who sounds like he's very educated but still just has to "hood" it up a little bit to stay fresh. After game 2 he asked pop a question and pop owned him, so after game 5 he stood up and said "hey pop its me, the know-it-all, i go back to my original question, why is it always blow outs with these two teams?" and pop just blew him off. It was great.

I never defended Duncan for playing bad. He played bad ! He missed easy shots. The blame can easily go around to everyone. Ginobili was a mess on defense and everyone that guarded D West gave him way too much space. He nailed about 8 shots w/o taking a dribble . What the is that ? Make the man work for his points. Throw in a quick double team or trap every now and then.
This team has NOT played Championship caliber basketball consistently. The Phoenix Suns are a bad team. It shouldn't have even been as close as the scores in those games were.
And yes, Manu is not healthy. After 6 years, Spurs fans know that Manu is a beast that drives to the basket AND nails 3's. So far, he has settled for jump shots 70 % of the time.

The team that beat the Pistons or the team that beat the Knicks were probably the best Championship teams we've ever had. This team reminds me of the 2003 team that would jump out to big leads and then lose them. FRAGILE PSYCHE's.
The Spurs are just as capable of winning games 6 & 7 as they are of losing game 6 at home. We've seen them play inconsistently all year. IF we win will depend on IF we show up and play.-- For 4 quarters. We turned the ball over, settled for jump shots, didn't make the extra pass and had mental lapses on defense. Easy as that.

Probably so if the Hornets are smart but that will cause problems too. Doesn't matter how you try and spin it, that Peja contract along with Peterson/James is going to be a problem for your team. Your bench is weak and your going to have problems improving it in the off season. You can act like salary positions don't matter but we had most of the Robinson era to learn that giving big contracts to average players will kill a good teams hopes.
Yeah our bench is a problem because of age but the spurs have plenty of room to fix that this summer. That's why Pop is a great coach/gm, more so than the x's and o's.

Most of the posters here haven't made excuses about last night. We're all down on TD's performace and wonderedwas up with him. Some have called out the refs but all in all most relaize that we sucked last night and it's time to get game 6 and figure out how to take game 7.
