intentional walk, bases loaded
I don't see the Jazz hanging with the Lakers much longer. So if I'm the Hornets I would look forward to playing L.A. in Round 3.
Despite all the Hornets stars, they don't have anyone who can guard Kobe. Expect Kobe to torch New Orleans on a nightly basis. And Kobe has help these days, too.
On the other hand, the Hornets have Chris Paul and David West. So they have a chance at winning a couple of games in the series.
intentional walk, bases loaded
base hit - LSU wins in 15 innings, 7-6. 13 game win streak. geaux tigers!
What sucks is we can beat this damn team. The big 3 play well and we don't let Peja get off and we win. Peja is never getting off with Bowen checking him. Bowen ing owns him. We can still win this series,
Believe.
That's what I'm talking about!!!!

No offense to those trying to bring the mojo, but I think timvp needs to start the game blog for game 6.
I have given up on the idea of anything being lucky in this series.
It's not about luck in this case. It's more about tradition.
It's actually about who's playing better basketball. The fact that the spurs have 4 les has jack to do with this series and its time for you spurs fans to wake up and realize it.It's not about luck in this case. It's more about tradition.
The Spurs have 4 les which means experience and the series is very much up for grabs. If i were you i would not be banking on a game 7 win just because Spurs have not won in NO yet. If Spurs win game 6 which i expect them too, then game 7 is a whole new element. Immense pressure, the ultimate do or die game where veteran experience counts a lot. Spurs still got a shot here.
Trust me i'm not. This series ends tommorow night. The home crowd leaves dissapointed to go kick their dogs and cry in their sopapillas. If i were you i would not be banking on a game 7 win
Hornets won't end Spurs season on their floor, see ya in game 7.
EL CRY-O, EN EL UN SOPAPILLA-OHornets won't end Spurs season on their floor, see ya in game 7.
My post had nothing to do with the 4 les. You haven't been on this board long enough to know what I'm talking about in terms of tradition.
Once again, my female rule stands. I see you have ties in your picture. Although i'd prefer to not see whoever that bobblehead is, I'll respect you for now.
Many thought the Spurs were done when they went down 3-2 to the Hornets with two games left and having to win game 7 on the road, but they beat NO 99-80 at home and then powered past New Orleans in game 7 on the road with a 91-82 victory behind Manu's 26-point effort to win the WCSF series.
Yes, the Spurs would then go on to get drilled by the Lakers 4-1 in the WCF, but still...
yeah mavs will choke like CP0 did
That Hornets series was one of the best in the past decade.
Well if your bumping something from 6 years ago to prove a point. To be fair 6 You do know we no longer have Tim, manu and to a degree Parker all in their primes anymore right? Just saying.
Manu has put in prime Manu performances and Duncan has no problem scoring vs the undersized Dallas frontcourt routinely outscoring Dirk on better efficiency
Parker has also ripped them to shreds when hes decided to score
The Spurs had Horry back then. They need more tough guys.
Yep. I remember when Horry hit David West's injured back when West in the air, 4th quarter of game 6 against Hornets.
Damn...I miss Bruce and Bob.
I miss Barry as well, he could play the backup PG and shoot threes and Midrange or slash, our guys nowadays can't do that at all! Patty is not close to that! Belli can't do all of that! I miss Brent to this day.
The hrnets were young and inexperienced. The Mavs are not
