So, do you still see an NBA Championship* this year for the Spurs?
That's not what the NOH fans want. They want us to proclaim that TD & the spurs are has beens and they are the next great team like the sorry ass mavs fans did.We're all down on TD's performace and wonderedwas up with him.

Not just yet, but Chandler is done. Thats my opinion, that opens up Timmmmmay. There is a reason Timmmmay is playing poorly. Age to but Chandler is a big part of it.

Bowens ???????? why the are you guys thinking bowen takes peja out of a game?? it is as much opposite as it is in that direction....peja also takes bowen out of a game where he cant add anything more defensively than just following peja all day....that first spreads the floor and makes ALOT space for all other players....
and if you dont put bowen on him...........the whole spurs team is Pejas ....you dont have any other that can guard him....he takes bowen out of the game, your best defender....and he as well takes peja out.......its like thinking that we are 4-4 than rather than 5 on 5....that makes life much easier for paul and west
no excuses buddy....he did his job...even got 11 rebounds and 9 points against one of the best defenders in recent time ...is great..
Peja on a stick is pure comedy....offcourse paul is a better player....you dont get it that its funny having pejas head on a stick..it wouldnt be so funny with other players...something about his smile, its really comical....
if we were going for the best player offcourse paul would be on most sticks

I never defended Duncan for playing bad. He played bad ! He missed easy shots. The blame can easily go around to everyone. Ginobili was a mess on defense and everyone that guarded D West gave him way too much space. He nailed about 8 shots w/o taking a dribble . What the is that ? Make the man work for his points. Throw in a quick double team or trap every now and then.
This team has NOT played Championship caliber basketball consistently. The Phoenix Suns are a bad team. It shouldn't have even been as close as the scores in those games were.
And yes, Manu is not healthy. After 6 years, Spurs fans know that Manu is a beast that drives to the basket AND nails 3's. So far, he has settled for jump shots 70 % of the time.
Your argument that this is the best Spurs team we have ever floored is flawed and weak and makes me think that you are the little kid who played sick and stayed at home today.
The team that beat the Pistons or the team that beat the Knicks were probably the best Championship teams we've ever had. This team reminds me of the 2003 team that would jump out to big leads and then lose them. FRAGILE PSYCHE's.
The Spurs are just as capable of winning games 6 & 7 as they are of losing game 6 at home. We've seen them play inconsistently all year. IF we win will depend on IF we show up and play.-- For 4 quarters. We turned the ball over, settled for jump shots, didn't make the extra pass and had mental lapses on defense. Easy as that.

And that's a great point. I never thought about it that way. With Bowen on Peja that does make them cancel each other out.
The Hornets win from that since Bowen is our best perimeter defender and we're using it to stop the 3rd scoring option..

One of the primary reasons the Hornets run in the 3rd got started this particular time around is because the Spurs panicked a bit; guys weren't stick to their assignments and allowed Peja and Mo Pete to contribute to the game the only way they possibly could: hitting easy, spot-up, wide open 3's. That killed San Antonio more than their periodic scoring droughts. THe Hornets better capitalize on their momentum though and close things out in 6 because the Spurs are tough outs in game 7's regardless of the opponent or cir stance.
That said, New Orleans has a strong team moving forward, but they have a lot of work to gain a championship form, especially with the East shaping up and the West getting tougher by the season. GO SPURS!!
