That is precisely why he has 7 rings . . . because the dude is a calculating, dirty player.
Ely is equally likely to break his own neck, or that of a teammate.

Yeah because a sore back = a broken neckAnd you were calling us classless on our forums where we apologized for the chanting. Damn you are delusional and a homer.
I know it's not something I'd typically say but I've seen enough.
What, you can't form your own sentence's so you have to quote other people?
I really hope that bas is 110% and puts up 40 and they still lose so there will be NO EXCUSES when we whup them Monday....
Then just go back to fishing.
no one else is actually discussing this foul.. only in this forum the failing trolls are
Check the screen Chandler set on Manu less than a minute after the West exit. Double elbows hard into the face. Frankly, it's a good thing we were able to get our starters out of there.
i just lost it laughing at this one, i think i woke someone up

I know, all Ive heard everyone on ESPN call it was a good hard playoff foul.
It wasnt even a flagrant.
I'd rather see West punch Horry in the mouth Kermit Washington style and put an end to his dirty bull .
Horry always earns his keep.
Vet min, next year![]()
some NO fans on other sites are blaming it on Byron Scott ...
well,An Old School player who knew what the he was doing with that head butt in West's back.. I put the blame on Scott for that! The game was over and the injured West was still playing. Hope it does not bite you in the arse Byron.
man i agree that was pretty good
How come I didn't see you this upset when Kidd threw down Pargo?? oh that's right! you're one hypocritical mother er!!
Don't be surprised to see a REALLY hard foul Monday against one of our players. Paul is known to be really dirty like that.
mavfan likes him some violence.
Kobe FTAs per game in '08 playoffs: 13.0
Wade FTAs per game in '06 playoffs: 10.9
He's out-Wading Wade.

yeah, this is a classy post...
You are one sorry jackass
PS: Those fans weren't cheering West's injury, they were cheering and supporting Robert Horry...big difference.
And anyone that doesn't the think the Hornets have been knocking the out of the Spurs in this series as bad or worse than what Horry did...is an idiot.
Who's winning the flagrant count in this series anyway? I bet it aint the Spurs.
I sincerely hope West is ok and doesn't suffer any permanent damage...but if I don't see his ing ass on the court again for the rest of this series...it will make my week.
That was a dirty play too, but last weeks news. Kidd doesn't have a history of pulling these stunts in big games in order to give his team an unfair advantage either.
Nothing dirty about that play. Horry braced for the contact and David West just re-aggravated that pinched nerve. Nothing really maclious or intentional. I'm sure in teh heat of the game nobody is able to realize that David West has a pinched nerve so I better back off or else, so whatever, if it didn't happen on that play it could have happend on some other play that he was posting somebody up, it was just a coincdence that Horry had to be there. Some people are gonna look at it that Horry purposely injured him, but that's not the case.
man i cant believe how those devil's advocates dont even mention the multiple times Parker gets fouled under the rim.. he's not even trying anymore as he doesnt get any calls. How many FTs did he shoot tonight?? anyone?
IMO, the Spurs fans did way more damage than Horry did tonight.
As has been repeated already, it was obviously a foul not strong enough to hurt anybody without a back that was already injured.
The 5-minute standing ovation Horry got after the spurs fans saw the replay just gave every other NBA fan (who already hates the spurs anyway, you know this) ammunition to cry conspiracy for the rest of the summer.
