They beat the Sixers and Magic. That is much more impressive than the Lakers closing out a series against Utah ON THE ROAD. Pistons showed true championship toughness by beating those 2 teams. Flip Saunders is such an amazing coach. The guy knows how to handle pressure situations especially in later rounds. You obviously ignore that the Cavs beat Detroit to make it to the NBA Finals, again with Lebron and a bunch of scrubs... I guess back then Lebron's will to win was bigger than Kobe?
You FAIL at your argument. The reason Kobe improved considerably is that now he has another teammate that requires attention and takes pressure off him.
Kobe is an extremely talented player. But without another star at his side, all he has achieved is early 1st round exits. Lebron has already gone farther than that twice with a bunch scrubs.
