The Cavs team is not good offensively but that's a pretty good defensive team. Kobe's team wasn't good at ANYTHING. The Lakers couldn't shoot and they couldn't defend...it's amazing they even made the Playoffs. The Cavs were expected to be a mid-seed in the East.
LeBron had Big Z and Larry Hughes. Kobe had Smush Parker and Kwame Brown. LeBron's team looked like All-Stars compared to Kobe's team.

Lamar is never the Man, he can't handle the pressure, but he's a good 3rd guy. Plus he had his family issues and an injured shoulder. This year he's back to being Lamar.
Any reasonable fan can see that Big Z's a good player. Larry Hughes is also 100x better than Smush Parker. Anybody can see the Cavs are a great defensive team. Their problem is they can't score, but they are and were one of the best defensive teams in the league.
Kwame Brown and Smush wouldn't even be good players in the NBDL.
