Even if MJ, Larry, and Kobe are huge pricks, did they ever neglect to congratulate their opponent in defeat? I don't know if that happened.

    Immature and classless at best.

CP3 needs to watch the end of a hockey series and grow a pair.

Chris said his balls are aching now and would like you to stop sucking them so hard.

I like Paul. I think he is pretty damn unstoppable when he is in the zone. HOWEVER, you can't pull off the tough guy, "they can't defend me!!!!", chest thumping bull if you're going to run off and cry if/when you get bounced... it just doesn't work.

Paul has at ude, and now it came back to bite him in the ass. He's young, he'll get over it and dominate the league again next season. Lets hope he learns something from all this

I agree with JamStone here... perhaps Paul could have stayed and congratulated them but maybe he couldnt keep his emotions in check... he probably went to the locker room and cried.

Im sure after the game when both teams were in the locker room he would have went over to the Spurs locker room and said congratulations.. like the rest of the team.

I believe he did walk off without congratulating anyone, but probably because he was about to cry. I'm sure Parker understands. And I'm sure Chris Paul thinks right now that this will be the most devastating loss ever. But there will be more losses (and wins) and he'll grow up.

He's extremely good. There's a lot of things I can't stand about him ... his forearm pushoffs, his dead ball flops and the way he loses his cool. But as soon as he matures, he's going to really dominate the league (as if he didn't already this season).
I was very surprised that he uses his forearms as much as he does. I know he's trying to create space. Sometimes it looks as though he's more concerned with drawing contact than making shots. Still a superstar-type player, but still somewhat immature.

Correct me if I am wrong but won't the offensive player get away with doing that?

Exactly. He didn't show respect when he was dogging Kidd, and he doesn't show respect when he gets dogged. Classless punk.

    You are 1/3 right.

Both Bird and Bryant have always given props to other players/teams when due. If you polled all NBA players on who the MVP was, Kobe wins it probably unanimously....that is how respected he is by the other players.

    But you knew that right?

Here's the thing. Chris Paul is like friends with everyone in the NBA. Off the court, he's one of the most well liked players in the league. On the court, he's a prick.

Who gives a about some pretentious handshake in a show of good sportsmanship, if off the court, you're really a .

Rather the player actually be genuinely nice in real person but a prick on the court because he's compe ive than a player be two faced, shake your hand like a good sport, then be a off the court.

    That's just me though.

It's no secret Chris Paul has an at ude problem. He did walk off the court without showing sportsmanship. The Spurs are a dirty team but Parker has some class about himself. Check out the youtube video of Chris Paul punching an opposing player square in the nuts during his college days. The dude's a punk.
you are an idiot! go home!

While his youth could be used as a one-time excuse, you can't say the same about LeBron and his lack of congrats to the Celtics after their Gm. 7. Dude's been in this league long enough to know what good sportmanship is. But then again, maybe they say congrats in private when they have time to catch their breaths and frame of mind.
