    Spurs fans hate the Lakers because they have on the Lakers. The Lakers are the only team in the Western Conference that's gotten the better of San Antonio in the playoffs. Phil's > Pop 14>4 Los Angeles > San Antonio So Cal> South Texas Kobe> Duncan etc etc.

    The Lakers are the only FRANCHISE that has gotten the better of San Antonio in the past. This Laker "team" hasn't done so far. To think that what the SHaq and Kobe Lakers accomplished has any bearing on this series is vintage Laker stupidity (that's right USAPA, I said stupidity). Lakers are going down, just like they've done year, after year for the past 5.

    They're easy to hate.

    All you have to do is remember how they acted when they were winning.

    Remember the Rick Foxes? Shaws? Evil Goliath Shaq? and punk-ass baby Bryant??

    Phil Jackson to top it off. They've been dormant and non-threatening up until the trade, and half the players aren't hateable anymore (Walton, Odom, etc.) but the aura is still there thanks to Kobe and Phil.
