I've never really understood this "opponent never won the game, we lost it" mentality. No team is able to perform at their maximum strength 100% of the time. Spurs are a great team but not obviously 100% of the time. Do you think the Lakers played at 100% tonight? no. Both teams gave pretty poor performances, but at different points in the game. Lakers just happened to come out on top. Just be happy that you didn't get blown out on the road like in New Orleans. You might be able to take game 2.

Lakers won it with their sense of urgency. THey played Manu fantastically and Kobe couldn't miss in the 2nd half.
