I can't even believe the Spurs were in that game after all they've been through in the last couple of days.

    Give me a break, already.

So, they blew a 20 point lead and a chance to split the series (they can still split it on Friday).

By the way, that out of bounds call late in the game sucked balls, but NBA refs aren't perfect.

    Here you go, LA: *

This is gonna look a whole lot worse after we go down 0-2 again. Their confidence is high now and they feel like they own us. Plus we can't expect fisher to go cold two games in a row. GRRRRR!!!

Spurs almost pulled off a game 7 win on the road as well as a road win in game 1 of the next series on the road within 48 hours. Back to the hotel, sleep a good 10 hours, and all will be good on Friday night.

I wonder if fatigue set in the 4th quarter.

The Spurs were missing shots and getting outhustled.

Kobe will not have a half the rest of the series where he's as passive and unimpactful as the first half tonight. Not a chance. He went way overboard with the "let the game come to me" routine.

They just went through one of their offensive funks -- O, the same droughts they've been having all season long, including 3 games in New Orleans.

    THey'll bounce back.

I'd really rather him be his GENUINE selfish self, than try to improve his teammates.

Kobe just needs to find the right balance. If he is aggressive, the Spurs must respect him as he is really the only player we have that you can't guard 1-1. He opens up the floor for everyone else, it all starts and ends with Kobe.

True, but I expect Manu to bounce back. Even a 10 point/5 assist/0-2 turnovers/5-12 FGA game would be a tremendous improvement.

    Amen, brother.

*one day of rest after sleeping on a plane and playing a huge game 7 - they were clearly fatigued,
*injured Manu played the worst game of his career,
*no calls in the last 18 minutes of the game,
    *on the Faker's homecourt.

I am amazed we didn't get blown out!

You'll see a very different team in game 2.

    I'm not worried at all.

Yeah come out in game 2 the same way you do tonight, and you might have enough juice down the stretch.

I mean Pop can't up 2 straight games

(what about the new orleans series)

    Oh yeah

The Lakers didn't play their best basketball and still won. If the Spurs played the Hornets or any another team, they would have won by 25.

Kobe took 1/2 game off and still won the game for the Lakers. What was impressive was the body language of the Lakers especially when they were down. It really looked like they knew they were going to win the game, and they did.

Bull . The ONLY one who didn't look totally defeated when the lead was at 20 was kobe.

The Spurs didn't play their best either. They did in the beginning, but ran out of gas at the end.

I expect a better effort on Friday. Keep your seatbelt tightened.

Have you already forgotten game 6 in Utah? Granted the Lakers won, but they won because the Jazz were bricking shots, not because of stellar Laker play.

Laker fans seem awful happy with their teams execution when in reality the Lakers played absolutely horrible all game despite some Kobe clutch shots.

Are you an idiot? The Lakers played brilliantly for nearly 4 quarters. Utah got hot in the 4th and stormed back the same way NOH did to your team in Game 7.
