after last night's performance, NO.
after last night's performance, NO.
???? The Black Mamba ate this guy up and spit him out! You start Udoka and Kobe goes for 40+.
here's the idea: put Bowen on Odom, start Udoka at the 2 and guard kobe , keep Parker on Fisher, Duncan on Gasol, and also start KT and have him on Radmanovic
i already know that this series will not be Manu's to lead, so why not put him back as the sixth man?
not in a million years... lame thread... a smarter one may have been "Play Oberto more"
So, now if Ginobili can't lead a series, he has to be benched?????
I think that Pop should stick with a set rotation and not alter it all the time b/c that affects players. So, Manu plays horrible and it's time to bench him. What the ? If he plays horrible starting, he will play same coming off the bench.
i think it would be a necessary risk for Pop to start Udoka and have Manu being more effective coming from the bench, just for Game 2 at least
well in any case, udoka should get even more PT
How the do you know Manu will be more effective coming off the bench?
He will even struggle more b/c when he will be out there end of 1 and beginning of 2nd, there will be no Duncan and no Parker to space the floor and of course they will double team him, blitz him, and what not.....therefore, he will turn the ball more and make stupid passes.
stupid move. who we gonna bring off the bench???
Start Barry, bring Manu, Finley, and Udoka off the bench.
Are we forgetting that Manu is the 6th man of the year? When he had the AWESOME game against the Fakers during the regular season, he came off the bench.
If the dude is injured, have him come off the bench. He's gonna need whatever fraction of rest he can get, considering there are no rest days in the WCF.
I would think Ime could be considered to start if A) he learned how to SUCCESSFULLY pass the ball B) knocked down key shots CONSISTENTLY
Otherwise....everyone counted their eggs before they hatched. Classic Ime sloppy ball was seen in the 2nd half. I like the dude, but he needs to tighten up his game
Starting Udoka is the best thing you could do from a Laker fan perspective. Your offensive spacing will turn to complete .
More like: start Finley, Manu comes off the bench again. Finley is a rhythm shooter and has had success in the past against LA. Manu is needed off the bench to counter LA's bench (which is way better than NOLA's).
If Finley has more 0-fers in this series, it's going to be baaaad.
But basically Manu and Fin both played like azz last night. They need to switch back to their original rotation.
200 Miles is a Laker fan posing as a Spurs fan. The idea of starting Ime on Kobe is crazy. If you start Ime, you put him on Odom. Not Kobe. I think Manu coming off the bench is a good idea.
look it was just an idea and I honestly appreciate the feedback and criticisms, but please do not call me a Laker fan
I have been a true spurs fan since 1996. God's honest truth
Well, he is hurt but that is no excuse and he is not playing as well as the regular season, so your argument seems to fade. Also, when coming off the bench Ginobili will do what he has done when starting.
Bring him off the bench for at least Game 2, so he can get his mind and body right. No use starting him and wasting his energy if he's havin' an off night.
If he seems more like Manu after game 2, then maybe he should start in Game 3. I dunno. One game at a time.
Okay, maybe you are a Spurs fan, but putting Udoka on Kobe is not a good idea. Please get that out of your head. I like Ime on Odom though.
well then have:
Duncan on Pau
KT on Radmanovic
Bowen on Kobe
Udoka on Odom
TP on Fisher
Oberto > Ime on Odom
