Just hard to agree with a conspiracy when the Spurs have had so much success. I'm sure the NBA masterminds could've seen low ratings coming from a mile away. It's an easy excuse to make yourself feel better that if the Spurs don't win it's because of some outside factor. Truth is that by judging this season alone you have to feel that the Spurs are not the best team in the palyoffs. I don't understand why people are so quick to dismiss the experience of winning as a factor to success. Our players know what it takes to overcome adversity and have proven it before. I'd be very surprised if the Spurs don't win this series. I think they have an advantage of a team concept that many other teams don't have. That said, if they do lose this series it won't be because of a conspiracy. It will be because they weren't playing good enough basketball to win - plain and simple. Don't make excuses - root for your team all the way through and live with the result. I do know the Spurs won't make excuses. By the way, Detroit is doing their best to explode the conspiracy theory.
