The Lakers may very well win this series... i still think the Spurs will win... but to hear you guys making a mockery of urselves by posting like you know wat ur talking about when it comes to the Spurs is a bit silly.... you should stick to just judgin your own team, or learning a bit about the Spurs and their recent history before making a fool of yourself.

Laker fans, can you count to seven? It was just seven months ago that Kobe called the Lakers a ty team and wanted out. Don't tell me the acquisition of Gasol made them a championship team. Gasol hasn't won anything in his life.
Of course, we're tired. Comes with age. Still, as the Hornets found out, there's a lot of fight in an old team. If your team lets down just a bit, they will be dead meat.

You guys really need to stop going back to the Hornets series for inspiration, it's apples and oranges. First off, you have to admit, the 2 loses in NO were nowhere near as demoralizing as the 2 in L.A.. 2nd, look at the playoff schedule for that series and for this series. There's a game every other day for the entire series, unlike your previous 2 series where you got 2 and 3 days off before games, like game 7 in NO. The Spurs are old, tired, in some cases injured, and they're showing all of it against an athletic, composed, and more importantly, rested Lakers team.
If you guys have to resort to "faith" to believe your team will come back, then it's over. Start concentrating on the 08-09 season, cuz according to the pattern you guys have developed since 03, you might have a better shot then. Then again, Bynum, Gasol, Lamar, Kobe and D-Fish is our starting 5 next year, with a bench that will include Farmar, Vujacic, Walton, Ariza, Turiaf, and Vlad, so maybe your window's finally closing this year.
Logic says the Spurs will come out with their A game and everyone will chip in and do their part followed by a big SA win. Lakers did learn something in Utah, they were in games 3 and 4 and could have won either, but didn't. They now know how to step things up on the road, they did close out Utah at the Salt Palace in 6. They will be compe ive in this in one. I thought the series would be 2-2 with HCA stolen twice. I still think the Lakers will steal one in SA, might as well get this one. Lakers 88 Spurs 81.
