    I was there too. Except I was on the south shore, living in the city.

    I called my friend up at 10:00 Saturday morning, asked him if he wanted to BBQ that day. He said he was in Baton Rouge, and that I better get out too if I knew what was good for me. So I turned on the news, and sure enough, the mayor was telling everyone to get out. Seems clear enough to me.

    So I packed 2 changes of clothes, the cats, and some files, and left. Didn't get back until October, and that was only for a few hours.
