I liked that the Spurs didn't have to sweat it out at the end -- the starters go to watch from the bench as the scrubs finished out the game.

The Spurs got a much needed mental rest after six nerve-wracking days. That will allow them to relax and concentrate on Game 4.

    I agree with Ducks.

One word: motion. I thought that was the difference.

intersting spur stoped the pick and roll
    and went to motion

    motion o works folks

We win with motion. Move the ball and keep people moving. Our motion O tonight lead to some easy buckets and that is significant. The Spurs need easy buckets because it is so hard to grind it out for 48 minutes. Easy buckets also are confidence builders. It's contagious to all. In LA we looked like an an old team running out of steam. Tonight we're energized and moving well.

More of the same in game 4.

When they showed Kobe towards the end of the game, sitting on the bench with an expression highly (everything except the tears) reminiscent of one at the end of the 2004 closeout game. With that said, the Spurs have still got to win a few more games before there is any celebration in San Antonio.

    What did I like?

That they came to play. They found some energy. Pop adjusted and gave Brent more PT and Finley and Vaughn less.

    1) Manu showed that now he´s pissed off about the 2 first games, and that "angryness" fires up the entire team.

    2) That we won with authority. A close game would have gave them a lot of confidence for next games.

But I´m worry, Kobe showed on purpouse in the last minutes of the 4th quarter that he can play incredible, as he saying "dont forget me, I would still be here in all this games".

    Watch out and defend!

It was probably more of him trying to see if he could back the Spurs into a corner again like in game 1, then he remembered how difficult it is to win in San Antonio. The series, though, will ultimately hang in the balance of how both he and Manu play. They are the two lead characters in this one.

Vaughn and Finley kill the ball movement. Barry doesn't. Don't get me wrong, there's a time and place in which the former two are needed, but not in this series.

Defenders can give Vaughn space. They can count on Finley not being able to do anything off the dribble.

Though Finley did come through with his shooting a little tonight.

    20+/20+/20+.

What I didn't like however, is the disturbing trend of when i watch a game/box score the Spurs lose, when I don't watch - they win.

The thing I like most about this win is that it gives the Spurs the chance to even up the series. At this point I don't care how they play as long as they win. I just hope they can carry the momentum to game 4. If that happens its best of 3...

What I liked most...is that all my yelling at Pop in games 1 and 2 was finally heard.

"Bring in Barry!!" "Bench Finley and bring in Barry!"
"Why the aren't you playing Barry??"

    That Stonecutter thing really works.

I am convinced that if we give Kobe his this team will crumble. He showed signs of it in the 4th. That is the best thing to happenn to us if Kobe starts trying to go Jordan on us the entire game. He cannot beat us on his own if we continue to play aggressive.
Especially if we can keep up the aggressiveness on the offensive end of the ball. They were driving it down those bas s throats tonight!!!
I very much agree with you. Of course, I got scared like everyone when he started to get hot, but notice how passive and cold the rest of the team gets when he does that. He's a much more effective player as a point-forward, scoring only when necessary; getting assists, rebounds, and steals.

If Kobe scored 81 points a game for the rest of the series, and we scored 82, I would take that in a heartbeat.
