Has the nba ever busted a top player from a big market for use of illegal drugs?

    Michael Ray Richardson.

And this thread's beyond ridiculous BTW. Yeah, inbetween the five minutes after the game ended and when Craig showed up for the postgame Lamar did a few lines and then a bong snap in a bathroom stall. Give me a ing break.

First, he went to the U of Rhode Island. Second, he was picked to be a good basketball player, not to be an allstar. Third, he does have all kinds of talent. Fourth, he is far from being an "average shmuck". Rather, he is the starting SF and an integral piece of the soon to be world champions. Fifth, he is one of the most versatile and complete players in the league. He's long, plays defense, shoots a good %, rebounds and passes well. Do you even watch basketball outside of the occasional Spurs game?

the sad truth is, a ringless team like yours has no idea just how deep a champ can reach.

Ok. We'll see. Good job attacking the entirely unrelated team I root for because you didn't like what I had to say about Lamar Odom.

And luckily for me I am not a part of that ringless team, I am only a fan of theirs. In fact, I'm more just an NBA fan than anything else. (And you don't rule BTW)

Odom was terrified of Kobe ing him out for sucking again like he did last year in the playoffs.

LO has been like that his whole career in interviews. Fidgety, won't make eye contact, will start answering a question before the full question has been asked, moves from side to side.

    That is quite odd.

Wasn't Shawn Kemp suspended for alcohol and cocaine abuse? Or as the NBA puts it "violating the league's substance abuse policy"? Or did he leave on his own.

I dont know if you guys have noticed, but Odom has the attention span of a two year old. His interviews always bothered me, but I soon realized thats just how he is. He never looks the person in the face. He answers questions as if 10 people asked that same question... looking around as if he lost something. The entire team played with caution last night... as if they were expecting the Spurs to choke again. Look for a more focused Laker squad Tuesday. PJ will show why hes the superior coach to Pop.
    Sure... whatever you say.
