Good man on that. I've actually come across them before and noticed it, so now I keep my eyes peeled, but for a long time I didn't know about that being a problem. It would kill me if my account got raided too, as it's for a full year.
be careful if you have a rapdishare account, some of the links are fake and actually fishing sites trying to steal ur accounts....so becareful on the links you click next time, they look similar also

Is that that the stuff they sell in the spystores? I had some guy try to sell me that remote spy thing one time. It used to cost a hundred bucks and you could only use it once per time. I also think I know someone whose husband used that other stuff on her. In any case...dude I am talking normal stuff.
If that's the stuff I think it is, it's completly undectable by any program(or it was at the time it came out) and nothing less than a reformat will get rid of it....so it's not like AVG fails where other programs succeed with that stuff(or it didn't last time I checked).
Show me where I said AVG is not good. I said AVG treats many programs as viruses that are not. like the 007 Spy
http://www.e-spy-software.com/
And many times AVG says it located an infection and ask if you want to heal it or put it in the vault or delete it and when you say delete it, or heal it
it says It can't.
You can Google many people who have the same problems.

Free AVG is not a very good anti virus program. You may need to get a registry cleaner to delete it from your windows registry. That is one way that they can keep coming back even with anti virus. Are you able to delete it from the vault?
You may be able to find a registry cleaner that has a free trial that you can use to get rid of it.
^ This quote will come back to bite you!.and I've used plenty of keygens on my computer. Plenty of crackers too![]()
TheatFireAbout the only thing AVG doesn't work particularly well aginst are hijacking programs...but what does?
Thank you for proving my first point. The reason I started using it in the first place was because it detected trojans and it wasn't even advertised as a trojan software.
How many of your workers are downloading Harold and Kumar 2 Escape from Guantanamo Bay? We are not talking about your average white collar tree huggers you work with. We are talking about serious PC geeks who are using every bit of that 300 GB HD they have.Futhermore...every bit of PC work I have done for anyone(and this includes being a tech for a law office), I am have put that program on there...and no one I've ever done work for has so much mentioned having a virus.
Dude then your out of touch, and thus have no right to call anyone out.Granted I haven't used any kegens or crackers in a while so maybe they added something to it
After the last GTG I saw you at I wouldn't be talking about what is legal!(and BTW pretty sure that's illegal)...
Besides you just said this..............
pot meet kettle.and I've used plenty of keygens on my computer. Plenty of crackers too![]()
You think?Maybe that have started going after keygens..
Try and download an XP activation crack then get back to me.The only viruses that get past this thing are maybe custom made viruses that are brand spanking new IME.
You can use Avast for two months then use TreatFire and then just use EWIDO until you flush your HD then you can install AVG again and start the process all over.In any case...I don't think AVG is going to be free anymore...the message I am getting is that the version I use is outdated as of May 31st and I notice all their new versions seem to be shareware.

How can you say it isn't a Trojan Program...if you are the Spyee it is. I'm actually glad to know it catches that program.
Does it catch remote spy too?
I've had that problem with every anti-virus program I've ever used...I just go and delete the file/reg keys manually if I can figure out what it is and where it came from.
Maybe about 2 years out of touch, but I just devirused someone's computer about 2 months ago and they haven't had any problems since...and I put AVG on it.
Thanks I might try some of that. Treatfire looks interesting.
But I've tried EWIDO before when you were reccomending it a few months ago, in fact I think I used it when I was devirusing that PC a few months ago, but it didn't get rid of the viruses either. I had to manually go through and locate and delete all the virus files. I think I left it on the PC in case she got any viruses. But it seems like a high maintenance piece of AV to me and it did not get rid of them, nor did it detect all of them. I know I didn't see fit to keep it on my personal PC after using it.

What I like is when someone says EWIDO is better than AVG not knowing they are both from Grisoft
Hey Whottt how come you don't go to the GTGs anymore?
Hmm...I'll probably make one at some point during these playoffs. I've gone to a couple in Austin and going to SA is expensive.
I also tend to like the ones at timvp's and Kori's house over the restaurant ones. It's more laid back and you can talk more...
try this, it might help ur comp against trojans, av...kill poison with poison

hey m
whats a good tool use to rip clips off tube?
I use Snagit it rips anything that shows up on your monitor!

@ mouse thinking that 300 GB is anything at all to a computer geek.
I take cache-dumps bigger than 300 GB.![]()
3.0 GHz Core 2 Duo at Fry's - $150. Score.
Eh, I'm rockin' Quad Core now. I don't think I'll go back. 4 Core ftw.
$150 to nearly double my speed was worth it.
Oh, that's undeniably a great deal, esp. when you can overclock the Core 2 Duo's so fanatically. A 2.4 Ghz can be upped to 3.4 if you are careful and know what you're doing, which is unprecedented in the history of CPUs.
Surely God can fix your computer, just ask him. what can possibly go wrong?
Why would you want any more that 300 GBs, It crashes? your screwed.
That is why they have the external drives.
Besides have you ever tried to sell a PC with more than 300 GBs? You will be lucky to get 200.00 for 2.8 ghz and DVD burner.
Do you have any parts for trade or sell? I need to sell a Dell 5100 Inspiron laptop for 250.00 or I might get a negative feedback from eBay.

Straight up. I actually keep a 500 GB drive in my machine, but it's hot swap so I think I'm all good. Even so, I never use more than 100 or so GB's of it because everything gets backed up on my 2 externals.
That's what they said about the first 6 GB hard drives. And the first 40 GB.
If my hard drive crashes, I either restore it with a backup or re-download what I need. That's why you back stuff up.
Depends on what you're selling. You can buy a new laptop for $600 these days, so you're not going to get good return on ANY used computer product. It's a fact, has nothing to do with the amount of HD space available, and is completely irrelevant to the matter at hand.Besides have you ever tried to sell a PC with more than 300 GBs? You will be lucky to get 200.00 for 2.8 ghz and DVD burner.
(4) 200GB raid > (1) 800+ GB drive...
...word...
Trust me you go download I love Lucy it's 52 GBs
MASH is 43 GBs That's 95 GBs already. Anyone who has 300 or more GBs has a crap load of Music or movies and you don't get all that w/o a Trojan or two.
What I hate is when your 98% from downloading a huge file and your XP Activation runs out.![]()
If I only get 250 to 200 for my Desktops as it is,why would I waste another 99.00 dollars on a 500 GB HD? Pass what your smoking brah!
I don't intend to sell my computer?
I want a lot of data at a good price?
Two 750 GB 7200 Rpm hard drives with a 16mb cache will run you a total of about $260 from newegg. I guess if both of those go out, you'd have issues, but that's why I'm not using two hard drives.
I have two 250 GB internal hard drives, and a 250 GB external. I plan to add either a 500 GB or a 750 GB external in the future. And that's paltry to what a lot of my friends have, a couple of whom have already broken the 3 TB mark.
Oh dear god, losing that series would really upset me. I'm sure that it would just kill me to wait for the torrent to finish! What would I do in the 2-3 weeks without ILL!?!? I guess I'll just have to re-download it in about 10 minutes at the next LAN*.Trust me you go download I love Lucy it's 52 GBs
*If I liked ILL, that is.
I pay 76.00 dollars
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=004
I make 200-250 back. how can you say there is no return on my investment?
I knew you would see the big picture!![]()
