Funny how the Tv media gives him a free pass. I like to see Kurt go into the game tonite and mess him up mentally.

No need to do anything different to Pau. Just run postups for Timmy and watch him wilt.
I agree. Just seeing if a Laker troll would come out here and get riled.
Pau Gasol = PF playing out of position at C. Next.
Pau = Catalan for vagina
Just trying to figure out who Paul Gasol is.
No kidding! If your going to start a thread to diss someone... you should at least get his name correct or look like a fool.![]()
who the is paul?
that said he is soft but thats perfectly ok with the future of the lakers. next year when they have bynum, he can play the low post and pau can play the high post and pick and rolls. the future is bright in la
You should stick to the Suns forums...you're better at it.
ElNono = Spanish for "takes it in the ass and loves it"
I don't think he is soft but he certainly is not the strongest there is. I'd love for him to work on his lower body in the summer so he won't get easily pushed by bigger guys, pull down rebounds, and become more of a pogo stick.
Mentally though, he is a fierce compe or. I'd like to see him dunk some more though instead of those finesse finishes. He's no Shaq or Karl Malone by any means.
I don't think he's going to add that to his game 7 years in. He is who he is.
Pau can catch the ball.
As opposed to Kwame Brown, the first player drafted in the 2001 NBA draft.
Whether you think he is the equivalent of Tim Duncan isn't the point.
The point is he's a definite upgrade from what the Lakers had previously. Consequently, he makes the team significantly better.
Which is why your team trails my team.
I agree with all points except for the last. Pau is not the reason the lakers are up (soon to be tied). Kobe and Lamar are the reason the Lakers are up, not to mention two of the worst playoff games I've ever seen Manu play. (or the machine's awesome D)![]()
Gasol didn't look soft tonight. He played Duncan as well as anybody could defensively. Pau is a compe or. I'm happy to have him as a Laker.
did you fail at maths?
2=3-1
Very cute but your equation does not make sense. Not according to the context of his post.
It's no denying Pau isnt very agressive. But then again, he's a perfect fit for the triangle offense just because he has very good court vision for a big man. With Andrew Bynum playing center, and Pau Gasol at power forward, it'll be much easier for him. He has a great 10-15 foot jumper, and a soft touch.
So yea, in short, he's not very strong, but still the perfect addition to our offense.
Pau is pretty soft.
