Every time the Lakers are attempting a 3 in the game 5 the Spurs need to jump on the player...
It's not a foul.
They have to sell it for it to be a foul.
Just jump on the guy when they are shooting...that's all you gotta do.
So because Pop decides to do what he always does, and not cry about calls after a game, doesn't mean it wasn't a foul. It was a foul, and a rather obvious one at that. If the refs don't want to call it, that's their mistake.
Obviously, the Spurs didn't lose the game on that single play, but don't tell me that 2-3 free throws in that situation wouldn't have made a of a difference. Anyway, the Spurs didn't come out to play with the required intensity, and that no-call b.s. just adds to the sting.

How do you know that? Kobe attacked quite a few times and went to the freethrow line 0 times tonight.
You Lakers fans can quit saying it wasn't a foul, because it was. Fortunately, that's not why your team won. They outplayed the Spurs. There's no harm in admitting it was a foul.
Ahh come on this thread is bogus.
I could honestly say that this whole series the refs have been really relaxed on calling fouls for both sides.
An if they are calling fouls sometimes really ticky tack for Both sides again.
Even Coach Popp said if he was a ref he wouldn't have called a foul either.
In all fairness , the Spurs had numerous amount of times to win this game.
Missed threes by Horry,Barry, and MANU which couldof took the momentum as the lead.
Yes we Lakers are looking pretty good going home up 3-1 but in these NBA playoffs (especially after that little run the SPursput up after the two missed Gasol free throws), I think it is safe to say nothing is a for sure thing
Gasol had Horrys arm completely pinned. Only reason why Horry did not get a hand on the rebound. Foul on Gasol all the way.
Either way its Spurs ball.
Brent Barry just said that that is never gonna be called. Besides Fisher's shot hit the rim, so the last two calls evened out. You guys are pathetic. So there are only conspiracies when the Spurs don't win it? The refs kept the Spurs in the game. Fisher and Odom were in foul trouble all night. Kobe has shot 6 FT's in four games.
Boom "A proper no call" "If I was an official I wouldn't have called that foul." Pop just said that.
Man up Spurs fans. The Lakers (without Bynum) are a better team.
Oh COOL!!! Now we get to justify what is right and what is wrong!!! YAY!!!![]()
Couple things here, 1, With out Barry, you are not in the position to tie or win in the end. And 2, 'sell' the Foul...your such a ing spurs fan!
It was a foul, period.
it was a foul...but so was a bunch of other fouls that wernt called during the game.
Zoh noes.

Notice Pop's words carefully.
"If I was the official."
If Pop was the official, he would be Joey Crawford. He Pop were Joey Crawford, he wouldn't call that a foul either because he'd be a dirty official with a vendetta against the Spurs.
Read between the lines.
Hey, where's the Tim Duncan three-step-dunk thread?
A basketball rationalization I wish would get flushed in the toilet is "He didn't sell the foul". Either a player is fouled or he isn't. There aren't degrees of fouling.
I try to call it like i see it regardless of who im rooting for so it's no accident.
It was a good game... see you guys thur.
That's not how he felt right after a bag landed on him. They had to have discussed how to handle the media in the locker room.
It was a foul. 2 shot foul. But Fisher's shot hit the rim so it's a non story to me.
They tried to stop us, believe me. KG going to boston and Pao going to LA were set up by Stern and the NBA so that they'd have an easier time fixing the outcome.
are you dumb. if this is true why stop on a blatant foul in a series defining 2 second possession
Yes, it was a foul.
No, nothing will change, no matter how much anyone whinges about it.
Move on.
PS And once again we get ed by D Fisher. Can we sign him for next year?![]()
tim duncan travel -2 points fishers shot hit rim new 24 = game over. stop crying and barry dribled after the foul so thats only 2 freethrows
Quit whining.
Derek Fisher's shot hit the rim.
Nice try but it wasn't Joey Crawford.
Just wait until you guys get stolen in similar fashion, then come back and let me know how you feel.
extremely freakin perceptive.
