Hopefully pop realizes that...
finley needs to stay on the bench, and barry can get all his minutes.
The Spurs were going to have to win a road game to take this series anyways.
Might as well make it game 5 and then have a 2 game winning streak and all the momentum going into Game 7.

Ths is when our comeback begins...?
In 2006, the Spurs were down 3-1 to the Mavs. Yet they roared back to take the series to a Game 7. Everyone knows the rest.....why Manu? Why?
K-State, that's a damn good way to look at it.
Go Spurs!!!
Well, the solution is simple...Manu sits on the bench for the final possession...Spurs in 7...![]()
It's over!!
Losing by 2 points is better than losing by 30 points.
The Spurs have an oppurtunity to make game 7 a home game.
The Lakers are probably tired out.
Thats about as positive as I get.
How often do you see the Spurs get outrebounded THAT badly...AT HOME no less. Expect the rebound machine known as Tim Thomas to get more minutes on the road as well as Brent, and expect to see better effort throughout game 5.
Exactly my thought...
This isnt over... ive been critical of the Spurs tonight... but i just dont think the refs cost us the game at all.. in fact i think they kept us in the game with some missed calls...
Anyway.. we need to steal one game in LA.... and then its series back on.
Why the was Kurt Thomas in the game for Horry... i mean .... why was Horry in their... he canty rebound he WONT shoot... because he cant.. and his defense is anyway...
Kurt Thomas should have played tonight.
It's safe to say that Gino will not have back to back horrible games. Which means San Antonio has a great shot at beating LA Thursday. If they can accomplish that then all they have to do is win game 6 at home and then there will be a seventh. Never say die. It's entirely plausible. Tonight's ripoff proved that LA can be beaten in a close game.
But seriously...
We need a Center who when they get the ball they can actually put the ball on the floor or at least put it back up and finish.
I cant wait for Splitter... a legit 7 footer who can finish around the basket and is tough...
I think he meant Kurt Thomas, not Tony Yayo.
Yeah, the last 2 rounds has screamed for a Tiago Splitter like player.
Sucks they couldn't have gotten him to come over this past summer.
Meant Kurt Thomas...been a looong night, lol.
At least we now know you can jump into people to play defense.
1) The Spurs have nothing to lose anymore, since they are basically done. If they win three-in-a-row and take the series, it will be an epic miracle. Maybe playing with their backs against the walls and one foot in the lake will magically improve their effort (?).
2) Losing in the playoffs like this is what drives them the following years. Unfortunately, they seem to forget how it feels to be bounced, so they need a reminder every other year (which means no repeats).
3) The Spurs will be adding some long-needed youth for next year, so that's something to look forward to.
4) I have a huge .
Did you watch games 1 and 2? Manu is very capable of having back to back off nights.
So by losing a close game, you just proved the Lakers can be beaten in a close game? That's about as myopic as it gets. If the zebras didn't have your back the entire game leading up to that last shot, it's not even that close. Duncan's 4 step dunk? The goaltending call on Lamar at the end of the game? The shot clock not being reset when Fisher missed that shot with 4 seconds remaining in the game? And you think you guys were ripped off?
So you're dillusional and a liar.
So... are you referring to 1, 2, or 3?
