ohh spurs fans and wishful thinking
First off, Yes Barry got fouled, Yes Joey swallowed his whistle, and Yes this hurts as much as .4 seconds. But Spurs fans, its not over yet.
I was looking at the faces and reading the body language of the spurs. (i think body language speaks more than words itself) and i read that these spurs players are really NOT rattled by this lose. it seems like theyre actually kinda accepting to the fact that they lost this game. Sorry spurs fans, but we deserved to lose this game just as much as Barry deserved to shoot 2 foul shots. I looked in the eyes of these guys and i saw fire, for the first time. i saw determination. They now know its now or never. These next few games will be the hardest games in the Lakers lives. Spurs know they can beat this team. This Laker team is not HALF as tough as the 2006 Mavericks were and the Spurs came back from 1-3 then to force a game 7 and were a dumb manu foul away from winning that game.
Im not saying they will win the series. Im just saying this is going 7 games. This is far from over my friends. If the Lakers think they have these guys right where they want them. The Spurs are exactly where they need to be, Pressured.
And i would never bet against Ginobili in elimination games. He turns into the Argentinian Michael Jordan....Clutch,Clutch,Clutch
Dont fret Spurs fans, this is a fun series to watch and a joy to see my Spurs defend thier le like champs.
ohh spurs fans and wishful thinking
its called faith moron
Body language of Spurs showed they had played their last homegame of the year.
I think it´ll go seven. I´m not sure how much will be left in the tank come Game 7, but I believe the Spurs will make it that far, at least.
Those were our exact thoughts of your team on Sunday
The San Anphonio Sterns are not and have never been a dynasty.
They have never won 2 in a row and have never sucessfully defended their le. A good team, but not great by any accepted defintion. No dynasty.
its going to 7 games.. for some reason the Spurs aren't as rattled as their fans... they know they can do this believe
It's not over until is over. Otherwise what would be the point of playing a game 5 on a 3-1 situation. The question is what are the odds of the Spurs winning. IMO, it is something like:
Game 5: 60%
Game 6: 40%
Game 7: 30%
a good team? try a great team.
Why don't you define dynasty?
In any case, who cares? I'm sure the Spurs players and fans don't cherish their 4 les in 9 years any less just because it wouldn't fit YOUR definition of a "dynasty".
I would say the %'s are flippd for games 5 and 6, no? playing @ Home > stapls
for some odd reason im EXTREMELY optimistic about this situation. its like I KNOW the spurs will force a game 7. im in no way saying they will win this series, but i feel very confident there will be a game 7.
and its not homerism either, its just a gut feeling
I predicted 7 t the start of the series so it wouldnt be a HUGE shocker ...BUT odds are against it ...now.
That's funny...I was gonna make a thread just like this 'cause I agree...
We need one in LA (HARD but doable 'cause the Spurs are pissed...and NOT too old to kick ass)...bring it back home for an easy (game 3 esque) win...then...who knows?? But we will have a chance and still do.
I'm actually usually pretty down at this point...because my boys have disappointed me in the past to a high degree...but this time...I'm being the "believe" sort of fan...because I do![]()
BAHAHAHAHAH
....
BAHAHAHAH
I guess to you the only GREAT teams don't exist these days. You must be a Celtic fan 'cause you have to have more than what? 5 championships to be great?? lol...
No no...4 championships in 10 years...meh...just good.
You dumb idiot...the SUNS are "good"....the MAVS are "good". Yes...the Celtics of today are "good".
The Spurs are... "" great
I doubt it goes 7. I think we blew this series in game 1 just like Phoenix did.
So do you suggest we give up hope and throw in the towel like Suns' fans?
I think not.
If spurs win on Thursday i think its definetly going 7 games.
anything can happen folks. yall should know better not to count the spurs out.
These series' are 7 games. Unless we go in a 3-0 whole, we have no less chance of winning the series being down 3-1 than we would if we were up 3-1.
You mean 7 games short of the NBA le
You must have failed math.
See 2006 Lakers/Suns series.
This does not mak sense.
