Shouldn't you be out pushing a taco cart or something?
does that even make any sense? try and rip me. post some pictures of yourself you little .
Shouldn't you be out pushing a taco cart or something?
Lakers should just stop bringing up the fact that Fisher's shot hit the rim, and Odom's shot was a goaltend (and don't even try to bring up that Barry traveled when he did not). These are hard calls for the refs to make. For example, Pau Gasol knocked the ball out of Duncan's hands and it was called as an out-of-bounds on Duncan in a crucial play in game 1. But, they don't have replay like we do, so you have to just accept the fact that they can't get those right all the time and just excuse it. They're missed all the time. It's a part of the game. It happens in every game. It's a human fallabilty issue - humans can't see everything that goes on on the court, obviously. Fisher's non call foul, on the other hand, was an obvious call, evidenced by the fact that this particular foul is called 99% of the time. It's a sure thing. The refs saw it - all of it - but they didn't call it, and not because they didn't see. Why? Who the knows why the didn't call it. But, you can't excuse it.
That's why:

Dudette, I've got nothing against you liking a stiff . I mean.......whatever floats your boat. But, I draw the line at providing you jackoff pics of myself.
rAM,
Just wanna make sure I got this right:
So you're a white power who hates people with dark skin?
Maybe someone can animate you into a cartoon because I just cant imagine a bigger actually existing in reality...
Of course a *purs fan out here lives in WeHo. Makes perfect sense actually... the *purs like it in the ass, so of course their fans....
Thank you for speaking the Truth.
I thought basketball fans have lost their mind, all saying the Spurs deserved to lose, that's why no foul was called.
WTF?? A foul is a foul. You can't decide NOT to call a foul "just because."
I think this thread should be closed.
Conclusion: We've heard all the reasons why the Spurs didn't deserve to win the game. We've heard about Odom's block/goal tend. We've heard about the shot clock that didn't re-set for the Lakers. The fact is, referees don't stop to think about all of that in the closing seconds of the game. Any neutral referee would think it's reasonable to react on the spot to that play and call a foul. The Spurs would've gotten 2 free throws, not 3. So it wouldn't have "cost" the Lakers the game.
But, Joey Crawford has altered our games before. So it's no surprise. And questionable calls or non-calls or shots don't get reviewed if it's the Lakers....
Close thread.
this thread has as much meaning as the 0.4 shot get over it already. the game is over! worry about the next one and whether or not the spurs can pull off another win i personally think its over for them but win or lose GO SPURS GO!!!
Thanks for showing the East what it will look like as they raise it up come mid June...
Exactly.
I'd feel the same way if the shoe were on the other pivot foot and LAL was down 3-1. I wouldn't like their chances, but I'd pull for them -- as I have since 1968 -- nonetheless.
Every team has "bandwagoners." The Celtics, Pistons, Lakers and Spurs are the cream of the NBA. No one has it locked until there's 0:00.00 on that clock and win #4 is in the books. Kobe won't claim victory until that moment and neither would Duncan if he were up 3-1.
I'm sure none of them pays attention, but the Spurs and Lakers players themselves would be, at best, mildly amused by all of this conspiracy talk and armchair quarterbacking.
Again, bitter.
THE BLACK MAMBA CAN NOT BE STOPPED!!!
forget looking back at the tape and over-analyzing everything, because if that were the case, the lakers have a lot of ammo they can use in this debate. (odom's "goaltend", fisher shot clock reset)
let's talk about the travel first, as a lakers fan myself... I don't get why some of you other laker fans are moaning about the travel.
sit back and think about it...
when we all sat in front of the TV and saw it live.
no one was looking at barry's foot for a slight travel.
when did we spot the "maybe" travel?
on the replay in a slowed down video. (and even then it was debatable.)
no one saw the travel in real time.
so don't expect the refs to judge it as if they had a slowed down video right then and there.
Shut the up Spurs fans. The refs were helping yall all night long. Fisher's shot hit the rim the possession before. You should have never gotten the ball at all!
1 - It was a foul
2 - Spurs lost because they played bad, especially on the boards, not because of the refs.
3 - Forget about this game. Win game 5
Hey guys, not here to troll or anything just have a quick question for those fans that are attaching an asterisk to this game:
Forgetting the fact that the Odom block on Parker was shown to be clean because Lamar got to the ball just before it hit glass (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDiZbtkBsyw), and also not mentioning that another missed call benefited the Spurs when the shot clock was not reset after Fisher's J hit the rim with approximately 5 seconds left...
...can we not agree as logical and knowledgeable basketball fans that Barry switched hit pivot foot just before any contact was made with Fisher?
The clear sequence of events goes as follows:
Catch. Step with the left foot. Step with the right foot. Dribble. Contact.
This call was quite prevalent all year when a player with the ball that isn't dribbling is anticipating contact (usually near the basket) that player has a habit of moving both feet (thus switching his pivot foot) just before contact is made. As you can see, Barry steps with his left, then the right, and THEN dribbles.
It's a travel.
The no call doesn't bother me as much really, since the play before that the Lakers shot the ball and it hit the rim but the shot clock didn't reset. If the refs called that the Spurs would have had to foul and wouldn't really have a chance for the win.
And yes the refs were very good to the Spurs throughout this game. I'm not going to deny that.
LETS JUST SEE MORE PICTURES OF YOUR ASS AND NOT HEAR YOUR SPORT TAKES PLEASE.![]()
I'm a Spurs fan and I live in OC California. I can totally say that Lakers' fan are totally annoying as f**k.
Not until 2000, did all these other bangwagoners jumped on the Lakers. They have no class, just like their team.
I hate driving around seeing cars with that yellow and purple flag in the window.
Calm down bangwagoner not all Lakers fans are like that.
not all... but of a lot... i really wanna say, more than half of the lakers fan or bandwagon fans...
you live in la, please don't deny what i'm saying is not true...
Van Gundy, Hubie Brown, and Avery Johnson all think that was a foul.
i'm from fresno, ca and i'm not on any bandwagon, i've been a lakers fan all of my life and i'm not a homer, i'm a realist. should there have been a call on fisher, maybe so, but that didn't decide the game. the spurs couldn't hit an open shot and were badly out rebounded and out hustled i will acknowledge the fact that there could've and probably should've been a foul call, but you spurs fans need to acknowledge the fact that the refs missed a lot of calls that favored you guys too even more so than the lakers.
very true... spurs just got out hustled yesterday... bottomline is, they lost... there shouldn't be any excuses for giving up that many points off of offensive rebounds...
As a Spurs fan... it is time to just move on and focus on the next game. Enough talking about what did or didn't happen in the game. It's in the past and it can't be changed.
We all know that in basketball, things can go your way at times and at other times you get screwed. It's time to just focus on the fact that we gotta win three in a row to move on. It is a difficult task.... but that doesn't mean it can't be done.
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
