The travel occurs at the moment that Barry lifts the right foot. It doesn't matter when/where it comes down. The right foot was established as his pivot foot and had to stay on the ground. It was a travel.
Odom actually fouled Parker, that's why Parker flew into stands, because Odom was like a D-Back smacking into him, so in addition to the goal tend (which no one but Fakers has ever disputed) there should've been an a FT... next
Tim Duncan walked, so did Kobe (sports center actually pointed that out) earlier
"Barry does a piss-poor job of selling a foul"
Manu sells fouls well, that's gotten him a lot of respect around the league... <- facetious
"Fisher's shot hits the rim" did it? are you sure....
BTW, how about the BS and-one that the called on Oberto vs Odom....

You all are dumb ing S.........Lakers played at great game....Spurs ing sucked....Spurs should have never gotten the ball back since fished hit the ing rim.....why the are all the spurs fans ing? Lakers did not get any calls this game....WE (SPURS) GOT ALL THE CALLS AND STILL LOST!
Tim Duncan U ING SUCK eveyone on the spurs are flopping too much....Bowen is the most dirty play i have ever seen.... ALL THE SPURS FANS U ALL ARE MORONS.....
I still believe! GO SPURS GO!
good to see another intelligent spurs fan
Barry Also Traveled And So DID Dumb Duncan....
i've seen this argument a lot lately, people haven't been paying attn to what Pop's strategy has been: make Kobe a jump shooter the entire series.....
Although I agree with the sentiment of your post, I have to say that this is the least constructive post I've read in quite some time. Clearly you're not really a Spurs fan because I have a hard time believing an actual Spurs fan would call all other Spurs fans "morons".
I Hope Lakers Win Today Just To Make The Spurs Fans Even More.....
DONT TELL ME THAT I AM NOT A SPURS FAN....I AM A DIE HARD FAN....JUST DONT LIKE IT WHEN ALL THE FANS ABOUT LOSING JUST BECAUSE OF THE REFS......WE DIDNT PLAY A GOOD GAME...WE LOST BECAUSE OF THAT NOT THE LAST CALL OF THE GAME....
I'm sick of this "they played badly" argument too: so... the fakers that were just 2 pts ahead of us played great, right?
obviously, they played 2 pts better than us (probably would have been a tie and overtime, if the game were called fairly)
bad offense usually indicates good defense (the kind where you don't get to jump on someone)
DO U KNOW HOW MANY CALLS WE GOT EVEN THOUGHT THEY WERE NOT THERE? DUDE WE ARE GETTIN OLD AND WE DIDNT LOSE BECUASE LAKERS GOT THE LAST CALL...WE LOST BECUASE WE CAN KEEP UP WITH THE LAKERS.....
posts=4
=> BS lakers fan QED
anyways.... no Barry started dribbling..... you see, you can catch the ball (follow closely) then start dribbling when you try to go forward (he was not succeeding b/c someone had landed on his shoulder)
WOW i dont know why u guys are so slow we should have never gotten the ball....do u understand that? dfish hit the rim we got a break.....did u expect to get two breaks in a row? i would have thought we would but i guess we didnt pay off the refs with enough money.....:
dude, isn't he pushing the ball down with his hand, towards the floor, when his foot starts to move?
that's what I like to call dribbling
check the rule book
In reference to the bold: That is selective memory at it's finest.
The Spurs were getting the calls ALL GAME LONG. They shot over 10 more free throws than the Lakers up until late when the Spurs were forced to foul & send the Lakers to the line and still shot 7 more free throws.
There were blown calls for both teams in the final minute and it's really unfortunate that this one call is all that everyone is focusing on. Ignoring Barry's travel before any contact, referees always swallow their whistles in the closing seconds of tight games. Bailing Barry out 40 feet from the basket to decide a WCF game is highly unlikely. No way even Kobe gets the call for that exact play, although he & someone like Manu would have been smart enough to draw much more contact when they saw that they had Fisher in the air like that.
nobody believes you, you've basically lied by posting with this handle.
so, children, we see liars -like- the no-call, children what do we conclude....
no FTs in 4th
Believe me, I'm well aware of the rulebook. It's not even close to a simultaneous move. It's clearly evident that Barry catches the ball with both feet on the ground. He then steps back with his left foot to push off. Next, he sees Fisher and tries to draw some contact by stepping forward with his right foot. Only then does he start his dribble.
The rule is you are not permitted to even LIFT your pivot foot with the ball still in your hand. That's precisely what happens.

Before the Spurs began intentionally fouling late in the game to stop the clock, the Lakers had shot exactly ONE free throw in the 4th. Next.

look at screen in front of you, "posts = 7" not a single person believes you a spurs fan.... no one on earth, you are a liar
google it, league admits foul should have been called, that's the NBA league
it's hilarious to see the team of Kobe talk about traveling.... Jordan envies Kobe's traveling papers.... ha ha
also, he didn't try, he -got- contact
okay, what ever u say...i dont need to prove myself to some idoit with an IQ of 0.....
what the spurs need is more fans like u....that and whine....instead of looking at what the spurs didnt do and what the other team did do.
