So Doug Collins with the help of general management helps build a future NBA Dynasty in the Chicago Bulls only to be stolen by Phil Jackson....What did Doug Collins do in the 80's that Us Bulls fan hate??? True that. Collins sucked as an analyst. I'm not sure how to feel about the signing with Chicago though. I think it's playoffs or bust for the Bulls. They have the talent, so the new coach should be able to get them at least to the first round.

I don't know if Collins sucks as an anaylst...he's just to consistent with what he says. I watched an old Detroit and Celtics playoff game in 87 and he was a commentator at that point saying the same he says now.

I am really glad to hear this because I cannot STAND listening to Doug "Captain Obvious" Collins ramble on in that singsong voice about the most trivial crap.

However, I am sad for the Bulls, who are getting a really bad, burned-out coach. They deserve better.
