Pretty Lame. No big deal in terms of implication or significance, but it was just a thing to do. During the postgame, Kobe said the team gave Sasha heat about it.
The Spurs have had the opportunity many more times than Sasha to close out a series win. They know what to do - just dribble the ball and run out the clock. Those guys out in LA LA land generally don't (outside of Kobe).

There is no rule that says you have to stop playing before the buzzer sounds. I had absolutely no problem with the Celtics running up the score on scrub teams in the regular season or the Patriots doing the same in the NFL. This is a man's league, you don't wanna get shown up.......then play harder. ing crybabies.
