    I feel sorry for the lakers now, because now that they have beaten us, they are cursed. Why??? Remember the 4 lakers superstars beating the spurs at that 0.4? They went against detroit in the finals. It also happend to dallas, beating the spurs and going down in the finals against miami. This is going be the same story again so next time, let us win

    It says more about how pathetic the spurs are considering the team that beat them couldn't win it all. The Lakers embarrassed the pathetic spurs like they should. So I'd say they are above the other 2 times the Spurs went down.

    I'd say it was a very pathetic and disappointing performance by the Spurs this year because they got eliminated by the worst team they've been eliminated by in a few years.

    So they were cursed in 2001 and 2002?

    Last I checked they won rings those years and kicked the out of the Spurs.

    Each team that has eliminated the Spurs on a * way has lost the NBA Finals miserably

    - 2004 - .4 shot by Fisher

    LA gets their asses handed by the unknown Pistons

    - 2006 - NBA Sacramento -> Dallas scheduling and bad calls/non-calls against Mavs

    Dallas gets -slapped in the face by the weaker Heat

    - 2008 - NBA crappy scheduling and Fisher's foul

    ?

    The rest of the years they were beaten ok.

    I don't like the Lakers, but I hate anything and everything from Boston. Lakers should win the series in 6 at least. Boston blows chunks on the road so 3 in a row at Staples doesn't look well assuming they make it that far.
