Somebody want to remind him of that so he can stfu.
This will become another Sam Bowie legend.
I thought we traded you to LakersGround for a poster to be named later, $52 in cash, and a 2011 second round pick.
Naw, that was PrincessPimp
I can get over trading Scola for nothing, i could get over possibly trading Splitter for nothing, but i'll never get over trading...
for nothing.
Which begs the question of who's stupider.
Pop said it made him want to spit, isn't that enough for you?
There were three massive Spurs organization failures in the Duncan era:
1. Not drafting Josh Howard.
2. Screwing up Andres Nocioni's birth date, hence not being ready to draft him.
3. Giving away Luis Scola (for nothing/at all).
Good or bad things come in threes. Hopefully this is the last. We won championships after the first two; hopefully we get one after the last.
What? When did this happen? Why didn't anyone say anything before this?
We gotta get something fortunate some time.
Those last two are pretty bad.The birth date one is just re ed. Our FO rested on our laurels (Tony and Manu) it's been a drought ever since (with draft moves at least). Joe Dumars has done a better job keeping up with the pace. I didn't realize how much we've relied on FA veterans around Timmy to keep the 'ships coming. I guess we took it for granted, since they always praise the FO for their drafting ingenuity just only two years ago.
Don't worry, Splitter's serving some fresh beef for the fans this summer.
If Ian delivers then that will be another accomplishment, though for some it will bee seen as an a plus for Presti more than the FO overall.
we passed on josh, and we traded away barbosa for cash. while that appears to be pretty stupid, we had our sights on NVE and Finley. i cant blame the FO for choosing finley and NVE at the time.
What about not re-upping stephen jackson for Barry money.
we passed on howard and traded barbosa because we were saving cap space to woo jason kidd. but we didnt sign him....
i wish we would have kept barbosa. i was upset about not drafting howard, but after he came clean about being a pothead.....ive decided to be upset that we traded barbosa. besides....if we had barbosa, perhaps splitter might have come over in 2008. but it is all hindsight and hearsay....we do not know exactly how it all would have played out if things would have happened differently.
cant complain about the 2 les we have won in that 4 year span.
Pop traded Scola for Nothing.
Hitler bombed Pearl Harbor.
A. It's old news
B. Wrong guy. Pop was torqued about letting Scola go to the Rockets.
Considering how Josh Howard played towards the end of this year, consider ourselves lucky.
well a big reason was cap relief, another big reason was drafting tiago splitter, and another big reason was that duncan plays the same position, and another big reason was we needed money for udoka.
yeah right and pay for Bonner what Scola makes... they just didn't want they guy and thought what they got was the best offer out there...
RC Buford is a clown. He tried to play cheapskate with Scola, but this same idiot paid Rasho in' Nesterovic 7 million a year.
All I can say is the Spurs are up creek when #21 hangs it up. Hopefully by that time, there'll be another amazing big man coming out of college and Pop can tank another season and land the #1 pick to get him (wink)
What if VSpan decided he wanted to play for the Spurs this next season?

Pop is a smart man. He won't be here when #21 hangs them up.
WE GAVE AWAY SCOLA!?!?! OH MY GOD!!!
When? To who? For what?
STFU AND DIE ALREADY DAMN!!!
No one cares about Scola but Argies and bitter midgets.
