There are many threads where I can post many thoughts..but all I have to say is this: The Spurs had the hardest two rounds out of any of the 16 teams in the playoffs this year. We had a 55-win team as a first round opponent. Phoenix and New Orleans series exhausted the out of the Spurs....the only thing the Lakers did to make the Finals was having a 57-25 record, only 1 game better than the Spurs and only 2 games better than the 6th seeded Suns....they had a cakewalk through the first rounds...Denver and Utah??

The Spurs had a chance to win this series....a 20 pt. lead in Game 1, a non-call in Game 4 that THE LEAGUE OPENLY ACKNOWLEDGED SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FOUL CALL, and then the 17 pt. lead in Game 5...we just ran out of gas. Out of all Spurs' playoff defeats this decade, I am the least upset about this one. I got over it in less than 24 hours.

This Lakers team did nothing special but win one more regular season game.. This season more than any, the regular season mattered. They got an extra bounce or call somewhere to get the 57-25 record getting Denver and Utah in the playoffs as compared to a 56-26 record that drew Phoenix and New Orleans, two teams better than the Lakers, in the first two rounds.

So I will go ahead and say, Celtics in 5. I won't be watching the Finals though. Everyone's talking more about Magic and Larry Bird than the current squads, shows how much of a s this series will be.
