He was choking about as bad as a guy can choke in the 2nd half. He had that one very nice dunk but that was it.

My dream is for the Celtics to win and Garnett to choke the entire time.

He choked badly in the clutch again, but Mr. MVP was trying his best to out-do him.

Between Garnett, Cassell, Rondo, Kobe, Gasol, & Odom, it looked like a compe ion to see who could outchoke the rest.

Mega Choker is KG always has been. I can't stop laughing anytime someone wants to compare him to Duncan. Duncan would have owned the 2nd half of that game, 3 finals MVP's, 99 and 03 he owned the finals, KG he just doesn't have that in him.

Why is anyone surprised? That's KG. Unbelievable talent that grips in late in a close game.

I'm still a fan of KG, but he definitely doesn't have balls of steel or ice in his veins. He feels pressure.

But, I'm of the other opinion than mono. I would rather see the Lakers win and KG not choke in any of the games. I don't really want to see Paul Pierce or Doc Rivers win anything.

Or have a 5 point, 3 rebound performance like he did in game 1 of the Hornets series...

It's alarming how many people here are rooting for the Celtics. If any team has come into this league and shown blatant disrespect for other teams it's the Celtics.

I guess they can't let go of the fact that the Lakers beat their Spurs.

lol im the same way. i want paul pierce to get a ring, as well as ray allen. i wish there was a way that garnett didnt get one though. but if garnett keeps choking like he has been, then its as close as it will get.

Paul Pierce has constantly been one of the most underrated players in the league. hes 3rd behind Kobe and Lebron in the "best guard/forward" debate.

How exactly did they do that?

The Lakers showed balatant disrespect to every other team via collusion.

Paul Pierce is also a bigger punk than what people claim KG to be.

Pierce is the same guy that pulled a Dwyane Wade last night. Remember several years ago in the playoffs against the Pacers, Pierce got slightly hit by Jamaal Tinsley and he went into the press conference with a bandage wrapped around his head? He also spit at the Cleveland Cavaliers bench. People rag on KG for being boastful and yelling and screaming. Pierce is the same exact way, except he doesn't do it throughout the game. He waits for the team to win and then acts like an asshole.

He's obviously a world class talent. I just don't like Paul Pierce.

So even though the Timberwolves got a better deal, there were no hints of collusion with the KG trade?

Maybe there was (probably there was), but I don't hold it against the Celtics because they gave up something of real value. They didn't spit in the face of every other hardworking NBA GM by working to trade Garnett for absolutely nothing, the way the Lakers got Gasol.

The thing about Garnett is that he doesn't have to be scoring to be contributing. He does a lot of other things like rebounding, getting assists, playing defense etc.

Wasn't funny if he was and if he is serious it is not a relevent point at all.

No, not making a joke, but not being serious either.

Point is KG is choker, but he's also the main reason why the Celtics are even in the NBA Finals.

Not the Lakers fault. Memphis and Chris Wallace need to take full blame, not the Lakers. If any other team could have gotten Pau Gasol for so cheap, they would have and should have done the deal as well.

actually other teams offered more. for instance the Mavericks offered Howard and some other things, which is far more valuable than Kwame Brown and useless pieces.

that le belongs to Paul Pierce. KG is the reason they won 66 regular season games though, if that means anything. but in the playoffs, its been all about Paul Pierce, hands down. if it wasnt for Pierce, no way in do they beat Cleveland for instance.

Not if you're looking to free up cap space like Memphis was.
