You're right. And it bugs me to no end that the media attributes the low ratings to a "boring" brand of basketball that we play or "boring" players. I mean, what the makes Boston any more exciting than the Spurs? Nothing. It's all bull .

It would be the same thing if the Jazz, Bucks, or Pacers were winning multiple championships. Small cities are less important and their fans are less deserving.

Bynum is only possibly a factor is he's actually playing.

Plus, I have faith that the Spurs brass will find some talent to counter Bynum and company.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, would be better than the Celtics making this years Finals a clean sweep with games never reaching the 100s.
It would be such a crushing blow to Stern and everyone in the NBA who did everything in their power to have their dream Finals.
The bad part of me wanted to actually see Paul Pierce get injured badly enough so that he wouldn't have been able to play the rest of the series, causing blowouts and low ratings. It would have been bad Karma for a commisionar that no doubt pulled some strings some where along the line to make this Finals happen.
