Believe me, there is no bigger bag in the sports universe than Celtic Fan.
For that to be true Celtic Fan would have to be a bigger bag than LakerFan. Impossible.

    Does not...compute.

    Besides...

Doc Rivers was a Spur...and he was one of the best players in 95...you'd have had to have been a Spurfan then to know that htough.
I remember that year, we lost to the Rockets in the WCF!!!

If the Celtics win the championship, it gives all those people who still believe him to be the better player than TD a window of opportunity - as in:

"see what happens when he gets a good supporting cast, he wins championships. KG
    4 #1 PF lol"

God, i hope that doesn't happen.
Add in Ray Allen, and it's a disaster.

On the flip side, Kobe winning would be mind-numbingly frustrating, but it is the lesser of two evils. Just.

Is there a way both teams could lose?

No...there is no fence here. One team will win and one team will lose...make your choose.

The Lakers winning is like NBA armageddon.

kg had a more than satisfactory supporting cast in 2004. TD > KG for life.

Unless Kobe takes Bynum on an off-season trip to Colorado, the Lakers are going to win a le sometime in the next three years. The Great Collusionist has assured that.

The Celtics will never win one if they don't this year. I'd rather have just one of them get a ring than both.

If the Lakers win a le now it increases the likleyhood they'll win 2, not 1. Therefore it's still better for Spurfan if the Celtics win.

Plus, after this year Kobe'll be in his 30's.

    Nice try though

Yeah, he was good in 'He Got Game' (or did Denzel make him good... or was it the threesome...)

BUT - dude ripped on Bruce, gotta stand by our own

    So did Finley.....

At least Allen didn't go try to nutride a ring on Bruce's team after doing it, like Finley.

If you told me that the Lakers and Celtics are going to win 2 championships over the next 5 years, I rather have it be the Lakers winning 2 than the Celtics and Lakers winning one each.

At least then I'll have one direction in which I can direct my hate with satisfaction.

You guys have been lucky because this board is relatively isolated from Celtic Fan. Believe me, there is no bigger bag in the sports universe than Celtic Fan.

It's a tough call, but in the end my Primal Hate wins out.
You're lucky you never had to live in LA, specifically in the Shaq-Kobe three-peat era. I don't believe you, as there is no bigger bag than frontrunning Laker fan, with the exception of slit your throat Raider fan.

    True...

I know I've always said to myself, self, if there's one thing you can say about Phil Jackson, it's that he never stuck an asterisk on anyone elses achievement
