    For me there are several candidates:
    * Germany is always dangerous even if they play a disastrous tourney...
    * Italy if they comeback from the blow of the Dutch
    * Spain is the best team on paper, but aren't very lucky in tournament play
    * Portugal great team, but Ronaldo really have to carry this team on his back

    On the outside looking in:
    * France, also a great squad, but it's really become time for them to glue together. Of course Ribery is a beast....

    I still don´t see the Dutch as a serious candidate....They´re too inconsistent...But since I´m Dutch I´m of course rooting for them...

    that's true, but the Dutch aren't known for their consistency. Even Van Basten said in the media that everything clicked at that moment and that he doesn't expect to see the same against France (which I think is the better team compared to Italy)

    portugal only go as far ronaldo and deco takes them

    you close them down dont allow them alot of ground to dribble with the ball then portugal is contained...there defense is what worries me...

    If only Eduardo would be healthy. They'd be much better with him, cause Petrič and Budan are not in top form. And Klasnič is also not 100%.
