I concede the Kings choked it away... but they should have not even played in game 7.

The problem is, FTAs arent a great way to rate officiating in a series - unless those FTAs get you your final 16 out of 18 points. Truly ridiculous officials blow that many whistles in the fourth quarter of an elimination game of the WCF.
