I thought it was due to the humiliation factor when Kobe's lawyers "accidently" released the name of the girl? It's been a while so maybe I'm getting it mixed up or something.
As soon as she filed a civil charge the prosecutions case was done. A civil suit that was settled out of court BTW
technically you're innocent until proven guilty people seem to be forgetting about that.
Last I checked you need a team to win championships. As good as the Lakers are they aren't complete enough on both ends of the floor to win it all IMHO.
If Kobe cannot win with Bynum then I think these kinds of threads are valid, but until then the Lakers simply lost to a better and more complete Celtic team.

While talking to a Lakers fan the other day, I noticed a fundamental difference in the way Lakers fans and Spurs fans think. I know it's a generalization but, this guy (who was my best friend for a year until we fell out of contact) was trying to argue that Kobe was innocent because, "what girl wouldn't want to have sex with him?"
Then he went on to list reasons why girls would want to have sex with him - success, confidence etc

and in the civil suit, Kobe paid her off.

they guy cant even stay healthy. hes too injury prone and plus hes too young. Odom, Bryant, Gasol, and Bynum is way too much for one team. too big, too slow.
