    Personally for me:

    SMB3, SMB, The New SMB, SMB2

    I didn't enjoy Mario 64, and while Mario Kart is possibly the best "racing" game, still not a side scroller!

    Super Mario Brothers is my favorite. A (very) close second is Super Mario World on SNES. The sound was so far ahead of its time, there were tons of great secrets, the levels / world were really creative, the control was perfect, flying with the cape and as a balloon was awesome, and Yoshi was a great addition.

    1) Super Mario World (SNES)
    2) Super Mario 64
    3) Super Mario Bros 3
    4) Super Mario RPG
    5) Super Mario Bros
    6) Super Mario Bros 2
    7) Mario Bros

    Man, I never stopped and thought about how much of my life I've devoted to that little ing plumber.

    And don't even get me started on the Zelda series.
