Rocko's Modern Life and Ren Stimpy both aired when I was around 7 or 9 and those shows both scared me at that age.
I was like 4 or 5 when they came out and I absolutely loved them.
Another thing that adds to Spongebob's hilarity is that there are beaches/lakes and they are underwater also the usage of making fires and while underwater LMAO In one episode they make a fire and acknolwedge that if they're underwater how is this possible and that's when the fire goes out. lol
