Gasol wouldh ave missed for sure.
Someone please upload the video of Kobe's "steal".
Gasol wouldh ave missed for sure.
Holy , KG with a massive choke.
I'm one of his biggest doubters and even I'm shocked.
2 prime time FTs and a couple of gimme layups. CHOKE ARTIST. You just don't do that in the finals, son!
Some Celtics fan was telling me the other day that KG should be MVP because he's inspired PP and Allen to greatness.
BS I say. He might just be the weakest link.
We got ourselves a series here people. What a devastating loss for the Celtics!
KG's Finals Dream Moment "Crucial FT's" "Game winning shot" "Game winning put back"
Couldn't get'er doneeeeee!
Give me a break. The Celts are going to finish this in game 6. If not the fans will finish the Lakers off for them. The damn near beat LA playing like crap themselves on LA's home floor. Not to mention the officials letting LA beat the out of them on defense etc... The officiating will swing back Bostons way at home.
With that aside, KG choked. He's so used to failing that he has to overcome his own mental barriers, not the opponent. Sort of like Phoenix not being able to beat the spurs.
Laker Trolls crawl out from their holes in 3...2...![]()

Just watched the Kobe steal on the big screen in super slo-mo. Surprisingly enough it was a good steal. He did just barely tap the ball and never hit Pierce's arm (even though Wilbon just said it was an obvious foul).
You need to youtube that.
I want to see that replay. I only got to see it once on TV. Sounds like it was a good play after all. #@$# kobe anyway though.![]()
huh? he didn't hit the ball, got his arm, and followed through and hit him in the ribs.
Didn't he hit pierce's body after that
The follow-through doesn't matter if he did hit the ball first.
I would just like to see conclusive evidence one way or another.
A little bit but the ball was already knocked out. They're not calling a foul there unless he hits his arm (and probably not even if he DOES hit his arm lol)
Pierce didn't react like there was a foul. It was close enough that no whistle needs to be blown. Pierce got tired and his dribble got loose at the end of the fourth... and he paid the price.
Doc not resting him at least a couple minutes is questionable. Then again, he has Kevin Garnickadnerson as his other go-to option, so perhaps Doc made the right choice.
I was looking really close to see if Pierce's arm jerked forward from being hit and it didn't. The only thing that happened was the ball went forward from Kobe hitting it.
We'll see, won't we? It's damn sure not a given IMO.
Celtics have injury issues. They should have taken care of business tonight.
Anything is possible. It's not hard to imagine scenarios where the Celtics find themselves in trouble, especially when you've got chokers like Garnett on the floor.
You think Garnett wants to play in a game 7? He's scared less.
The only thing I enjoyed about this game was seeing Garnett once again choke. The missed two tip-ins and three free throws in the fourth quarter![]()
lakers are going to win this series. i can't believe it. i may have to stop watching basketball. what should i do?
Kobe and the Lakers is basically what Hillary Clinton was the last few weeks in the primaries which is a who is just stalling for time before they inevitably go down.
I thought it looked like a foul until I got a second look.

Killed me not showing up to eat crow after lakers choked in game 4 (had an exam the next day), but I'll be around to take it regardless of what happens next two games guys.
LOL KOBE
After scoring 15 points in the first quarter, Bryant went cold from the floor and finished just 8-of-21. But he made a big steal, poking the ball away from Paul Pierce and streaking down to deliver a two-handed dunk with 37.4 seconds left.
“I just was kind of reading the play and I was able to get my hands on the ball and get out and get a dunk,” Bryant said.
lakers got this series under control
machine will be loaded for game 6

That is a most apt analogy.
